Use that will drain battery. Currently i used flip cover and the screen will on when i flipped the cover.

it doesn't drain my battery very much,overnight from 100% drop until 92% only

setting>accessibility>dexterity and interaction>gesture wake up
this helps u to activate your screen without touching any button by sliding your hand on the gesture sensor
but this only works when u put your phone on flat surface

while for locking the phone,u can download lock screen widget for that

Is it caused by bad reception? My celcom connectivity is poor and it drains quite badly.

Bad reception are bound to drain battery..  Especially when bandwidth jumps from 4G/3G or 2G.

I'm choose 2G only option

Some telco may not have 2G these days. Was on celcom, and was told some area no longer has 2G. 3G is better

I dont not think that is true, the other way around perhaps. No 3G, turn to 2G.

Choice is yours. I had tried it myself. Telco did slowly phasing out 2G. I tried it on publika by setting to 2G but very bad reception..  Almost no signal. That's why i ask and was told..

For locking the device, I used Nova Launcher and put a lock button widget on screen.
