Yeah. Even the 2016 A series a5, a7 is quite expensive.

Not sure if i can replace my note series with A series..

A lot of thing u need to sacrifice if u wish to downgrade to Samsung A series..I read current a9 model with 4000mah already can last 2 days with 8 hours sot(gsm arena review).a9 pro with 5000mah that recently launched will achieve better milestone.if battery life really ur priority then worth it to downgrade..if not better stick with note 5..better performance, better camera, spen and 2k display.I think note 6 also hard to achieve a9 milestone because note series more emphasize on performance and mega specs.btw, I really enjoy 2k display..easy to read newspaper on the browser..that small2 word can easily be read because of sharp texture..another thing is if u heavy on waze or youtube then really worth it to change..sometimes also think to change into a9..but cannot live with spen.I frequently cut article and share the info on wassap..haha

Best battery life phone I had ever used is now Mate 8 : easily 10 hours SOT and is double that of most other high end Androids
A superb phone - very smooth and doesn't lag. It had very strong LTE lockup and no nonsensical stuffs as sudden poor network connectivity, drop calls like some other phones
Those looking for long battery life can consider this to replace Note 5. Note 5 only advantage I would say over it is merely the SPen only
Some might say it had only a 1080p display but seriously side by side comparison with my other S7 edge, V10, Nexus 6P I don't see any significant differences unless one had microscopic vision

Mate 8 icons can resize become smaller or not?..or can download smaller theme?..last friday I view mate 8 at huawei shop..gold colour really good..all is ok, just icon a bit bigger..if can make smaller, will be really cun..

There's the problem: 1080p. I think 2K is too much for a phone and it puts extra strain on the phone for no reason except eye candy. The Mate 8 can be fluid and last longer because it only pushes a little more than half of the Note 5. If Samsung had kept to 1080p but bumped up the specs it would blow everyone else out of the water.

Ya..2k is overkill especially for the smartphone that have really small screen size compared to tv.it will takes some times for quad hd display phone to have good battery life(>2days) while for 1080p it have already proven can last longer with iphones 6s plus, mate 8 and galaxy a9. I also think samsung will have extraordinary batterylife if note series came out with 1080p display taken account what it have achieve with 2k batterylife..less pixel to push, less strain to battery.

Well, samsung is known to focus on hardware. laugh.gif janji powerful. Samsung suka.

That is the problem with samsung..too much focus on hardware spec for its flagship model..now 2k, snapdragon, bigger ram..all this high spec are power hungry..after this came out with 4k display, faster ram, faster processor, yet battery life will still become problem with majority of heavy use customer..
