I know of some retailers who were bullish on gloves and other local stocks until the start of this year.
The subsequent drop threw them all out of the market, and they migrated to crypto in Mar/Apr just to be met with another crash.

I got no skin in the game when it comes to crypto so am happy with the observer status for now.
At least it is something to talk about.

Before this it was Remedi,  short for Renong Medical Industries. If you remember well Renong was a public listed company belonging to UMNO too.

Remedi was given the sole franchise to supply all medical supplies to all government hospitals

Despite the sole monopoly,  being managed by Remedi went bankrupt

So what next.  UMNO came up with another company,  Pharmaniaga.

This company is now the sole supplier of all medical supplies,  including medicine and implants.

Now that's how the vaccine came to Pharmaniaga.

The vaccine could have been procured directly from China.
But no,  UMNO must also have a piece of the cake.

This is not the only monopoly.

The support services involving millions was managed by Faber Mediserve for 15 years.
Faber belongs to UMNO.

After the expiry of 15 years it evolved into UEM Edgenta to grab the monopoly for another 15 years.
You don't need to be a genius to know that UEM belongs to UMNO.

This is how the monopoly companies are sucking billions of taxpayers money.

Only thing they keep changing their names.

I feel like better “park” my money in the profitable companies now after looking this news.
