I assume you kept your 6000 Gocean OR and did not sell it today.

Today is the last day of OR listing.

Meaning, you have to subscribe to the Rights Issue @ RM0.1 per OR.

Hence, 6000 x RM0.1 = RM600. You have to make payment (bank draft) to Shareworks.

By subscribing to 6000 Gocean OR, you will get:
Gocean mother share = 6,000 units
Gocean free warrants = 6000/4 *3 = 4,500 units

Disagree, MCO have just as much impact if not more.

When we buy stocks, we have to sell to cut/take profit.
When 'shorters' sell stock, they have to cover their position (buy to cut/take profit).

Stock price increase when buyer > seller.
When 'shorters' are forced to buy to cut loss, they become buyers.

Hence, the concept of shorting will actually drive a price further, either up or down, with great volume.
