I'd like an input on "What is the allure to 'investing' in loss-making companies"? Like for example, the PASUKHAS, the ALAM Maritim and the likes.

1- loss-making companies could not pay dividend, correct?
2- higher chance for these companies to go bust
3- y-o-y loss got higher!

but looking at the volume traded, and the Q, like there are interest in these kind of stocks. Beats me why, so if anyone could see what I may have missed?

How do market perceives Share buybacks - good or bad? i am seeing some of my counters going to reds because of this. but on the other hand, SBB is usually meant to distribute 'wealth' by way of dividend?
