My Padawan, as I said before, stock investment is a marathon and not a 100 metre sprint.

Yesterday, we may lose money. Today we win again. Tomorrow we lose again. And the cycle goes on and on. But it is the result of the race 30 to 40 years down the line that matters.

No point crying when we lose money or gloating when we win money for the day or the week. That is a very narrow way of looking at things. This is a just a general remark not directed at you.
