Good morning all sifus,
i have a quite complicated questions.
During 2018, i have 80,000 units of PUC at 0.191.
Meaning my cost is Rm 0.191 x 80,000 = RM 15280
Somehow during this year, I rmb there is a corporate action on PUC that cause it consilidate at a ratio of 1:5 making my original 80,000 units become 16,000 unit.
after consolidate, the price become 0.110.
Meaning my value after consolidation is
Rm 0.110 x 16000 unit = RM 1,760.00
i lost Rm 13k after consolidation?
This doesn't make sense at all.
Thanks all sifus.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Just before consolidation the share price was RM 0.03 or RM 0.035. At this stage you would have lost 83% of your money (bought at 0.191, before consolidation price about 0.0325).
Currently price is 0.16, 0.16 x 16,000 = RM 2,560, compared to your initial investment of 15,280 you still have lost about 83%.
