Glove selling could be due to Putin announcing they have registered the vaccine for covid and is safe to take. Good to keep in mind that they have not tested the vaccine properly yet.

Adding my noob perspective on people mentioning how much they made on here. I don't mind it as much cause to me it doesn't really say anything.
Someone made 1mil? Impressive? No clue, since I have no idea how much their initial investment was in the first place. Could be 100K or 10 mil. However what's impressive to me is a few months later, how much of that 1 mil you made is still in your possession? Or even better did you manage to grow your 1mil into something more? Then that's a real flex. |

QUOTE(Ziet Inv @ Aug 16 2020, 07:00 PM) Thanks for this, super helpful. Btw recently found you on youtube. Keep up the good work Also want to ask all the sifus here, how many of you guys have semicon companies in your portfolio? I'm looking at a few companies but they all seem really expensive right now. |

Cleared most of my portfolio today by cutting losses. Think I might give the stock market is break for a while, gloves not doing well, bluechips also scared will drop again. Not sure if it's because of market uncertainty due to the coming US elections and if Covid will stay or go with news of vaccine but also still terrible covid numbers being reported. Any sifus can shed some light on this?
Need to go back to the drawing board to plan portfolio |

QUOTE(zstan @ Aug 25 2020, 12:39 PM) currently no. pharmaniaga had already started building their plants since 2018 and GMP certified. vaccine packing needs a complete sterile production plant, even more stringent than parental and hormones packaging. and most vaccines have to be at fridge temperatures, so the entire production site has to maintain their temperature between 2-8 degrees celcius. Their electricity bill must be crazy...all in Tenaga.QUOTE(zstan @ Aug 25 2020, 12:40 PM) China is developing covid vaccineThis post has been edited by mojo86: Aug 25 2020, 12:43 PM |

QUOTE(Deathscythe@@ @ Aug 25 2020, 05:16 PM) Why must follow KJ to fill and finish rather than getting the bottled one? Does current vaccines are fill and finish in Malaysia? Vaccines will not cure Covid but prevent you from getting Covid...presumably everyone in this country will need to be vaccinated. So it would make sense to package them here I thinks...Besides, why do we need to fill and finish in Malaysia since the cases are relatively "low"? Hmm.... |

QUOTE(bronkos @ Sep 1 2020, 01:39 PM) Wow, cant believe it selling at a loss for blue chip stock. Yup...def want banking stock in my portfolio so keeping an eye out on the price. Right now am anticipating it will go lower but of course if it starts to go back up again I will prob end up kicking myself haha.Ever consider buy back later when it hits really low to cover back recent loss? QUOTE(wct @ Sep 1 2020, 01:51 PM) And yes I started investing after Covid happened. I'm still new so I appreciate any sort of guidance here hee. This post has been edited by mojo86: Sep 1 2020, 01:55 PM |

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Sep 1 2020, 04:52 PM) can't say... small move. Is it safe to say that since some businesses have reopened, TNB shouldn't do as bad next quarter compared to this?TNB is a utility does not move much. mostly supported by local funds for dividend. HereToLearn liked this post

Topped up Supermax and Careplus...according to their last QRs, I feel these 2 are the most undervalued. And in my mind, there's no way they will make less next QR than the last.

If I remember correctly, right after TG's last last QR results...price went down for a bit. After that it started going up to RM28.
Will it happen again? I think so haha. |

QUOTE(lauwenhan @ Sep 17 2020, 11:16 PM) Do y'all actually think the glove rally is over? No appetite to eat, no mood to study/play video games. Thinking about how to cut loss tomorrow. Man, never cut loss that much before at one time. Imo, I don't think gloves have reached its peak. Esp with this quarter's result..can you imagine next quarter and the next? To me there's nothing more certain than gloves during a pandemic and comparing it with another random company is comparing apples to oranges. But this is just my opinion.Every time gloves goes down, ppl are always saying it's doomsday for gloves..then when it goes back up the "huat ar limit up" comments start coming back. It's like watching a rerun of some kdrama. My personal rule when I'm in this situation is to calculate and judge if my average buying price is really too high. If it is, I will cut loss. Yes..this should've been done before I bought the stock haha but i've learned from my mistake. If I feel it's still at a good price with good prospects for next QR, I will average down. I bought Careplus at 3.5 and averaged it down to 3.1. Could've averaged down more but I made the rookie mistake of averaging down too fast. However, if you're feeling really stress with the losses and holding on to it is affecting you mentally...I would suggest cutting loss bit by bit. Don't do it all at once. Just imo. |
