diff is whether it is pure cash acc or collateralized... unlikely u get leverage.

leverage, margins, financing... u pay for it.

Cousin call me just after end of morning session. Ask whether can lend 15k since he can only transfer 15k to his trading account today. When inform can do after lunchtime, he told me cannot and needs it by 2pm.

Now I have seen him monitoring both TG and Supemax shares last week on his computer. So I am pretty sure he would have bought some during the fall. And he has a personal banker which helps him manage his money.

So why the urgency to borrow money? There are only 2 reasons I can think of right now.....

1) Either he sustained a lot of losses playing contra or margin account, and needs the money for repayment immediately, or....

2) He might have got wind from his personal banker that both Supermax and/or TG shares is going up this afternoon, and therefore needs the money to put in orders to buy them.

Which one is it, we will know by this afternoon. Maybe I could be mistaken  could be for other shares too.... but we shall see....

Short term buyers who plan to buy now must think about what catalyst are still available for the price to go up. Growing profit is already public knowledge. Today's trading shows that even when PAT exceed analyst expectation, it is not enough to exceed public expectation...

Last month I shared the 3 reasons why I continue to hold TG when price tank:

1) Bombastic QR coming soon
2) Bonus issue
3) US ban resolved

Now, only item (3) remains a visible short-term catalyst...

Of course in the long term, more bombastic QR may come out. But the next QR is 3 month away.

Need to also think - if everyone target to take profit at RM9-RM9.50, who will be the last sohai to buy at this price for you to exit...?
