i'm not sure when and how did the steel theme play got started, any idea?

my almost 20 stocks portfolio (each from different sectors) recovered strongly, indicating broad base recovery, hope the momentum continues.

Probably because the increase in steel price and many people believe recovery - thus the need of steel for construction and etc. Also China might be also play a part of steel theme.

Dua lines pun belum jalan... Even if jalan 6lines this year, they already expecting miracles?

30k/line x 24 hours x 210days x 6 lines pun baru 900+m

900m/1000 x USD90 x RM4.12 pun baru 330m give or take. If follow other glove makers 50% profit, pun baru 175m and still need to deduct taxes.

Well no full lockdown as expected. I wonder how Bursa gonna react on Monday.

But the market was using forward PE all the time.

here's what an investor could see....



EPS recent 4 quarters was 4.52+4.36+3.13+2.92 = 14.93 sen.

Only 14.93 sen. And what was the price? RM11.66!!

The stock was shooting up. Was it justifiable the price was so high? Well the answer was yes. Based on FA, the future earnings was set to rise. And the future expected EPS was expected to 43.5 sen (ie future earnings was set to rise! The market was indeed looking forward!)

Yup .... market was forward looking. It did not care that at THAT present TG eps was only 14.93 sen.
All it cared was to look forward to the eps of 43.5 sen.
yup, it's hard to stomach with these guys now calling the reverse....
with forward earnings declining....
it's still all FA....
