From 2k+ to 1991 now. Reactionary to shares. All gold counters fell.

1. Gold is traded 24/7.

2. So how exactly does one define closing prices?

3. Anyway, if you insist, in percentage wise, how many percent 'drop' was that? Got 1%?

4. Gold is 24/7... 24/7 non stop trading.....

5. which is why the live gold prices charts is a better indication.... https://goldprice.org/live-gold-price.html

6. The chart ..... does it look like it's end of the world? falling?

user posted image

7. Some of the pros on gold ...
https://www.fxstreet.com/news/gold-price-ne...bs-202008181254

8. MuiP .... only held 40% of nex metal mining. Nex Metal as it is, is still losing money. Look at the chart of nex metal and ask yourself, why should MuiP so bullish? Our stock goreng masters so much better than the Aussies?

9. Jewelry does benefit from higher gold prices but the benefits does not warrant the crazy goreng limit prices.

10. Niche Capital is really a lousy company. Go check 10 year history.....

Falling definition = live gold price going down, stock goes down, sell while still have good profit.
*
Well, if like this, hope you understand that you sure are playing a much risky game.

btw Niche Capital = Nice.

I thought gold is first traded when New Zealand markets open and closes when USA closes for the week. So it closes on the weekends. But mostly less than 48 hours.

Bitcoin however is traded 24/7

The gold is falling part really was too much.......

and even if one used the 'reference' prices which can be seen on the below table

user posted image

sos: https://goldprice.org/live-gold-price.html

The so called fall in percentage is only 0.55% only.....

The best way to get benefit from gold is either thru the local banks bullion or gold coins.... or some do offer certificates...

That's the way to go.....

nice sharing.

so, the advise is it not to invest in MUI..  laugh.gif

so, need to prepare CL.
*
It's not exactly an advice (plus I m not good enuf to give any dvuce) but just saying it as it is...so at least one have a better idea on what exactly one is betting on

Anyway our penny stocks have its set of rules and masters. It can go crazy without any proper reason.

And some penny stock, without fail, will have its own bull run whenever the market is hot... laugh.gif

totally agree.

*
It's rather useful, in my opinion (which many would not agree, esp when they are punting). that one should at least know the briefest idea on what they are betting on. Want to bet on a race horse, at least know what color the horse is lo (lol .... I will be slaughtered for that remark tongue.gif)

For example, Nice = Niche Capital Emas.
It does jade stones and gold jewelry.
As a company, this is a lousy company.....

https://klse.i3investor.com/servlets/stk/fi...p?type=last10fy

( lol ... no where else got the 10 year summary ... )

last 10 years... only made money 3 years....

this is the very basic info ... one should be aware of when they buy Nice and hope to profit from the gold bull run.....

but then punters will argue.... such info is not needed.... bull run.... we just goreng up the stock only .... laugh.gif

Opportunist. But sometimes can. Just set a max loss or profit and goreng once for a while. lol.

But recent new trend is more likely follow the media social news. A lot goreng king. Good for those not so greedy type. Only the greedy one will get burnt.
*
That's the thing.... anything can be goreng.....

Just saying that there's no harm with some extra knowledge....

And if one understand how lousy a company Nice is but still reckon the stock is worth to bet because punters will just simply sapu anything that is related with gold.... then go for it lor.....

a bit of a sad story, the covid pandemic really take a big hit on their businesses. Not sure when they can fully recover.

For all Genting's underhanded dealings with transactions that involves the owners themselves (RPTs) I would never invest a single sen in this group.

Best way is to think like this...

Would you invest in my company Boonie, if I keep doing deals, such as selling another company, which I owns, to Boonie at a high price? And the other stinko part of the deal is this company I am selling is known to be losing money...

Would you?

Got karma one, you see the Gen HK deal. Force genm to sell at low price to Lim family, now get back this shit.

In the end must blame shareholder also, keep approving whatever that they want to do.
*
That is why la... whenever I see such messages...

I do my civic duty to inform others...

And in this sense, this is why I mentioned that old fart...

But the stock market...
LOL...these stuff is hard to listen.. more so if the listening party has vested interests.

The other solution would be better. Ask the boss to take only 10% of his salary. That should solve all issues.

If they were so brazen with privatization deal then anything is possible

I got carefully read throught the rtd.

Not that bad la the boss. Gen hk was lost making for years so he bought it over also high risk, that part is cruise liner one.

The empire resort actually need cash injection, it was being sold for cheap by previous owner but lim no money to buy it all for themselve, so get gen m help. 50/50 but he unable to properly turn it around.

As for genting as a whole, they now got alot of assets. If they able to preserve and not sell assets for cash calls such as their properties and licenses, i think this trade could be a multibagger is 2 - 5 years horizon.

The risk is that they took on too many acquisition at high price before covid. If dint expand so aggresive, now can buy most casino properties at 50% discount.
*
Empire was losing money...and I will call genting group as a serial rpt la... Every 10 years.. do at least once.

Anyway... if you think okay... go ahead... just as long as you know the risk lo....

That was a terrible reply... sorry rushed it... and it wasn't convenient due to the company I was with ...laugh.gif

Anyway.... what I wanted to say was....

Empire was losing money...
It was owned by the Lim family...
and you said it precisely that Empire needed the Ca$$h .....
or kopi shop style of talk is Empire needed a bailout la

And what did they do?
Use GenM to buy the stake....

is it wrong to say ' lose money only sell to GentingM' ?

Okay... how this? Have you seen a RPT deal done with Genting or GentingM that benefits Genting/GentingM? rolleyes.gif

Genting Group other mega million rpt deals over the decades...
what's the similarity? brows.gif

my answer? Genting group cash is used to takeover all these companies which coincidentally, for some reason or another, is either losing money or needed a bailout.

and ps their yearly related party transactions is a lot too....

But like I said, if you understand and accept all these....then go ahead .... seriously la..... icon_rolleyes.gif
