QUOTE(howyoulikethat @ Mar 1 2021, 11:47 AM) For fundamental analysis: I highly recommend Peter Lynch's books. Read Warren Buffett's letters to shareholders too. If you can read Chinese, read Fong Siling/Coldeye's books. HAHAHA, FA fcks me deep for ambank. SUPER CHEAP valuation, but then boomed by 1mdb.For technical analysis: You pretty much can learn on investopedia. You don't nid to learn so much on Msia stock operation, bcoz if you have the prerequisite skills, investing in any stock market is the same. JohnKekHow liked this post

QUOTE(howyoulikethat @ Mar 1 2021, 03:39 PM) Again depends on the gap down price. If it limits down, I will not cut. If it drops only by a little, maybe I will cut. I am just afraid after I cut, it flies. Our bank shares are lagging other countries bank shares so much. I dont think it will take years to recover even if it limits down on Wednesday. This news have 0 impact on ANZ bank share, looks how it is still rising (up 1.6% today) When the bank theme is back, everything will rise up. We just dont know when will the bank theme comes. You see Singapore, Australia and US banks already higher than pre-covid. QUOTE(statikinetic @ Mar 1 2021, 04:11 PM) Sometimes life just comes and screws you over, I can relate. Hahaha, I feel like joining my friends' syndicate to goreng instead of investing already. I am on the verge of giving up on investing in bursaI remember last year there was this one stock where the planets all aligned beautifully, but had one unexpected event that could not be foreseen happen which impaired the performance. Same with when we are out of a walk and a bird takes a giant dump on us. Happens. |

Bursa is famous for sell on news especially when a share is up for no reason until the valuations are absurd before the news

Trading might become less and less popular and difficult with less people trading as more people are going back to work. Soon, traders will have to compete with algo bots instead of retailers.

QUOTE(lauwenhan @ Mar 18 2021, 11:17 AM) Interest rate unchanged : Fed I think there will be inflation but interest rate will remain lowGoodbye to the recent narrative on inflation because the Fed simply doesn’t care and will not revise interest rate anytime soon. The wealthy and upper class still love investing in stocks. Especially growth. Recovery stocks will do well and so are the growth stocks. Secular bull market 2021 confirmed. It won’t be as crazy as 2020 but it’ll be stable, slow uptrend from now on https://www.npr.org/2021/03/17/978136117/li...modest-inflatio The Fed still plans to keep interest rates near zero for an extended period, helping support the economy until the job market is fully recovered and inflation is on track to moderately exceed 2% 10y treasury yield is now at 1.621% |
