that question is very very variable. yes it is a good buy if you can hold for long term? even that we cannot be sure investing would be a good choice.

long - I would say 5 years or more
good - better than other available options, such as FD.

Newly introduced. Much relaxed requirements for listing.
However only "sophisticated" investors can invest. Have to meet a few requirements.

I have a question...where does the shares from DRP came from?
Issued by the company? Or buy from open market?
if it is issued by company, does it means that for every dividend payout, all shareholders suffer dilution? Then if you get odd lots from DRP you need to arrange to sell separately in future..which is a further cost burden to small-timer?

DRP comes from new share issue. Yes to all other questions.

Unless your holding is substantial and can get min 1 lot, better to opt for cash payment.
