I feel bad for investors who got cheated/scammed by Bloomberg/financial news on the issue of recession. Most retail investors missed out on one of biggest rebound in the history

A lot of my friends (actually all of them) either got promoted to senior positions or headhunted by MNC companies. Does this look like a recession to you? It is the opposite

so many people on /k keep posting bearish news about Meta and Microsoft layoffs exactly 10 months ago. It was obvious that the bottom was in when I saw so many reverse indicators on Lowyat. I went all in on Meta when the annoying guy from kopitiam kept spamming news about tech layoffs. If you even have an iota of accounting knowledge, you know why layoffs are so good for shareholders (how much $$$ contributed to the balance sheet).

However, with that being said, the biggest problem with the Malaysian stock market is that fund managers are out of investment ideas. But we cannot blame them because Malaysia literally has ZERO direct AI plays and our export/semiconductor companies are at the lower tier of the value chain. So we are fked either way.

Why would anyone buy REITs? Just buy the actual property dude. Don't be so lazy and unwilling to pay legal fees and brokerage fees. REIT is for lazy people
