Though I agree Hendo is not the best captain, I don't think it's that big a deal when it's just a title. I'm sure the senior players with experience Kolo, Milner and Lucas play roles somewhat like a captain in the dressing room without actually being captain.

The more urgent need is to get actual quality players instead of worrying about who should be captain. It doesn't matter if your captain is Gerrard or Maldini if he is surrounded by 10 other scrubs who cheat a living playing "football".
