hie bobba.. congrates on getting your first freelancing project.. i agree with everyone that charge based on your skills.. dont go to high if you dont think you deserve that much and not tooo low so we can mantain the standard of us designers.. however.. charge a bit lower is kinda ok.. above all, in my opinion is buat keje betul2 and make them happy.. they can be long term clients and they may even recommend your services to others..

one more thing.. try getting 20-50% payment upfront.. those clients who are willing to do that, u know they are professional and sincere.. ive done one freelance, been published for international front cover.. and didnt get paid
