I don't even know where do I post this.

Let's say I bought a DVD player supporting Divx. And my video files is in rmvb format.
I know there's is a long way of doing it as in converting the rmvb to mpg and burn it to DVD which is very time consuming.

WinAVI Video Converter can convert RMVB to MPEG-2 or DVD. I've tested the trial version but it have "nag" watermark on the final video. To remove it, you need to buy the registration key.

Another tool is ImTOO RM Converter but I don't test it.

I ask you have you taken your dinner you tell me you went to somewhere to take lunch.

Man, all I want to know is, is there any converter, or does WinAVI uses divx to convert files from RMVB, MPG, etc etc to AVI

Sorry, no idea. Besides, some converter (eg. VirtualDub) didn't indicate it's using DivX. You only notice during playback if DivX loaded (at the taskbar).

Does anybody know which software is used to convert MP3 format to CD Music format?

Try Burrrn (link) :
QUOTE
Burrrn is a little tool for creating audio CDs with CD-Text from various audio files.
Supported formats are: wav, mp3, mpc, ogg, aac, mp4, ape, flac, ofr, wv, tta, m3u, pls and fpl playlists and cue sheets. You can also burn EAC's noncompliant image + cue sheets! Burrrn can read all types of tags from all these formats (including ape tags in mp3). Burrrn uses cdrdao.exe for burning.

Download the video from Youtube (Check under Essential Reviews and Guides). Then, convert into MP4 using YAMB (Yet Another MP4Box GUI). Personally, I never try YAMB before. Doom9 have a thread about YAMB

hi guys

Perhaps this had been asked before in the earlier pages, and I had checked out the links in the first page, but could not get the answer.

Any good software to convert VCD to RMVB? I had downloaded mediacoder but has not been able to install it in my notebook.

Pls help. THanks in advance.

You use installer or the RAR media ?I've tried RAR media & got that error. However, I didn't use installer since i'm not much interest with RM/RMVB. Other possibility is codecs or filters.

how to convert a mp4 file to avi?

Try SUPER from http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html. Make sure the associated codecs is installed. Most error generated during conversion is due to lack of codecs.
