if i were u, i'd care less about case modding. just slap some 12mm fans, hook it up to a big ass tv via s-video, add a wireless keyboard and it's ready to go as my 24/7 porn rig
edit: anyway, without telling us even the laptop model or brand won't help anything at all. a pic should help us how to rape your lappie better

One of my friends in pinang actually claimed that his friend managed to full convert his desktop rig into a lappie(or somethin of the sort...)....,sad thing though is that he left early..(before our camp could finish....)I wanted to know how he got the PSU to fit in This post has been edited by tatayoung: Dec 22 2006, 10:49 PM

Well, I am facing the same condition as the thread starter too... The frame of the LCD cracked. What I did was ripped off the LCD, just plug monitor through the VGA out, viola. But then, it is currently lying aside. No point use it since it is only an old P3 lappy.

while were on the subject of laptop modding... i have an old acer (i think) laptop that i wanna rip apart... and i was wondering if its possible to connect the LCD monitor to a desktop GC via analog or DVI. S-Video is not an option as its currently taken up by my TV  anyone knows how to do it if its even possible?
