I received this number and the guy read my Name, Address and Working position. Last, he wants to verify my IC. this is scam. Be careful. if receive the call, scold them as they are scammer. Now, intergrity is valueless. Customer information is sold for own beneficial. So disappointed.

cause no one if taking action. If really want to do something then can sue them. You got their number. Means can track them. Sue for invasion of privacy and find out how they got the information. Then sue the person/company the gave them your contacts. This will make people think twice before selling user information in the future.

Unfortunately, this is too much hassle. Nobody have the kind of time and money to do it.

A class action lawsuit would be the best way to go.

GOt a call fromt his number today.

Pissed me off when he said he's from Maybank. I spoke in English, he decides to speak in Malay. fine. Layan.

I heard the words 'credit card' and yelled at him. How many times do I need to tell you people no? Are you deaf?

He goes 'FINE LA SORRY LA MISS' and hangs up.

Please don't piss me off. I called Maybank straight. Asked who it was. Guy on phone was very nice. I explained everything and said I'd like to find out who it was as I want to formally lodge a complaint to a manager.

Customer service guy of Maybank tells me there is no record of a call made to me today. I called within minutes of receiving the bogus call. He said Maybank last called on 12 Feb 2016. He told me to block the number.

Thank goodness I called Maybank.
