Don't think there are any calibrator here for hire.

I believe they gave you one of the unsold display set from one of their dealer. If they told you this is new, then this is unacceptable.

Some dealer have a main power switch to off everything at the end of the day. So this set might never have a chance to do auto refresh properly.

A new set should have no more than 1 hour usage, because LG do have each panel turned on for a few minutes during the assembly at the factory to do basic level calibration, tests and checks prior to being assembled with the frame.

The total hours was the first thing i check when my GX was delivered, mine was brand new from box 

I never knew there was this feature and your post made me go check my also supposedly "new" on purchase C9. My 98 days owned TV clocks in at 2367 hours! That's more hours than I've owned the TV!

I am beyond livid at this point, even moreso at being ripped off by my family's regular go-to guy for all our home electronics. This is our 7th TV purchased from him through the years.

Unfortunately I've only discovered this three months after owning the TV. Not sure if there's any means of recourse now. I will be contacting the seller first thing tomorrow nonetheless to give him a piece of my mind. If anyone has any advice I'm all ears.

Actually this is a replacement cable FOC from Ruipro. I got their first gen cable that wasn't able to passthrough 4k120 properly with the Ampere GPUs, that was an issue with the HDMI chipset that Nvidia used. So instead of waiting for a fix from Nvidia and LG (which hasn't happen until today evidently), Ruipro went and tweaked the HDMi controller in their cable instead and send them all out as replacements to those that had already bought their cables. This is world class customer service.

On calibration- does any actual professional calibrator exist in Malaysia? I’m guessing that if any exists, they may only do commercial projects and not home based ones. I tried to look but cannot find any info at all.
