I got it for 7900 free sj8 soundbar with 24 months interest free installment...isit cheap?

got it from best denki...free delivery and more confident because oled TV very thin...their better get the in-house delivery guys...

Look at Desa's FB as they posted a recent Samsung promo that gets you a free soundbar and bluray player for the new QLED TVs

I also see a cheap LG 65" OLED C7T with active HDR (?) for like RM9K as per Desa Home Theatre's ad
Are you sure it's C7 and not C6? I doubt C7's price has reached below RM11k yet

Update: I also noticed Panasonic OLEDs as shown below. Any thoughts?
Ignore brands other than LG & Sony if you're getting an OLED

My suggestion is that you should do more research before rushing getting one, because asking these questions the day you plan to buy one does make it seem that you haven't done enough research yet (don't take this negatively). Rtings.com and HDTVtest on youtube is a good place to start, and HDTVtest have posted comparison videos between C8-A8F and C8-Q9FN

Which desa home did u go to? Did u take their extended warranty?

Best Denki MyTown had the 55" C7 at RM6339 in the last 2 weeks of May, during the whole "we absorb GST" campaign. No soundbar though.

I don't think C8 is worth it now , unless you watch a lot of sports , play a lot of fast pace fps / action games or super nitpicky like some of us that demand absolute perfection on picture quality. The processor and BFI upgrade isn't big enough to justify the price .

Can't wait to compare it with older TV 

I also poison by the C8. So preetyyy. I think i will get that instead, but I will wait until LG throw in a soundbar or something significant.

Spent the last several days , testing my C8 . This bad boy is kicking some serious asses .
I must say I particularly love the new BFI on C8 ,  I can sit closer to the TV without getting dazzled by all the hardcore action scenes now .
Also for gamers , the new dynamic tone mapping makes a Day and night difference for gaming  . Wouldn't recommend it for movies though  , especially those mastered in Dolby vision are already very bright .
Last year they patched the OLED with a nerf on the brightness and APL , causing the a lot of games , such as Horizon Zero to look way too dark. You can offset this by turning on dynamic  contrast, however this cause a lot of details to be lost behind the brighter area.  The dynamic tone mapping is different , they analyze metadata and selectively brighten zone or object carefully with the new a9 CPU , the result is HDR highlight and zones that look a lot more iluminating than any OLED TV, yet retaining most of the fine and delicate details on screen .
I know a lot of reviewers say it isn't worth the upgrade from last year , but that is because they are not primarily gamers . For me , this feature alone is good enough of a reason to upgrade from last year's model.
My verdict : if you are a gamer , the C8 along with other 8 series  ( except B8  ) are probably the most amazing TV money can buy now  . The AF8 seem to still struggle with input lag , and Sony's OLED approach to the HDR just doesn't seem right to me , they choose to go for the brighter route and overblown the HDR details ,  one of purposes of getting a good HDR display was to check out all the glorious details behind the bright and colorful lights to begin with .

I have been checking C8 55 inch price during this Raya holidays. Best price is MYR 8900 Best Denki 1U.

Will there be a promotion with sound bar or something in June or July?

Meaning, should I wait for a better deal in the coming months (before Sep with 0% GST) or Raya period (last day today) is the best deal to buy?

Just bought a LG OLED C7 55inch from Desa Home for rm6599. Plus i also received rm1.3k worth of voucher from them. A very good bargain IMO, been using the TV with my PS4 Pro, very very impressed with the quality.

Anyone interested to buy the TV from desa home can PM me, i probably will let go the voucher since im not planning to buy anymore electronics anytime soon.

I expect the tide to shift a little with the new batch of QLED,  words of the new Q9FN being crowned as the new King of LED TV ( previously hold by Sony Z9D)
That beast is able to conjure an inky blackness that is visually identical with the OLEDs , along with that 2000-3000 nits peak brightness  .
At that level , they basically don't need to tonemap the typical HDR content mastered @1000-4000 cd/m²
Still , I don't see this happening in Malaysia . 
Samsung  MY is just way too greedy and their pricing has been consistently higher than most of the other region .
Q9FN and the QLED models in our country are much more expensive than the OLEDs , even the mid range 55 inches NU8000 cost over $5600+ ( 65 inches of NU8000 in USA cost less than that )
Doesn't help the fact they have been stripping features from budget and lower end models every year , cheaper remote control , no voice input etc
So yea , Samsung MY , at least make your pricing competent first if you want more people to buy your TVs.
On the other hand Samsung's Customer service is fairly knowledgeable , I would have gotten a Q9FN instead of a C8 if it wasn't for the over the top EOTF HDR tracking , crushing the tiny details on screen.  I am a Huge fan of those glittering little details you see behind the darkness in HDR  , although I heard they have been doing better after several firmware patches to allow for less aggressive FALD .
