QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 11 2016, 11:08 AM) Yes, it is true that one cannot pay loan with a credit card. However, so far only PTPTN allows. Oh well, probably they want the youngsters to go bankrupt earlier. Timely pay ptptn with 1% interest but bad cc payee with xx% interest. Haha clever! So which available channel now since posonline n mybayar is no more |

QUOTE(lucas114 @ Mar 14 2016, 08:54 PM) My application for Ambank BT 0% was through phone call and without providing statements. Perhaps you can try to BT 4k. Is it? Thank you for the info. I was a bit confused with the term outstanding balance, whether they going for the statement balance or any current outstanding balance. I will call up later, thanks my hopes are up! QUOTE(gastacopz @ Apr 21 2016, 04:19 PM) so im still getting 3.3% cashback right? after -2% charges from aeon.. still better isnt it? just that cant get anymore cashback..since already max out QUOTE(kyle_kl @ Apr 21 2016, 04:25 PM) Example 1: pay 100 If you have cimb cr, you can test and split the payment see whether the cimb cr is entitled for posonline cb.Cost: 100 + 2 (2% fee) + 0.12 (GST) = 102.12 Cost after Vox 5.3%: 102.12*0.947 = 96.70 Payment received on Aeon: 100 - 1.50 = 98.50 So it means use 96.70 pay 98.50, effective cb rate is 1.82% Example 2: pay 500 Cost: 500 + 10 (2% fee) + 0.6 (GST) = 510.60 Cost after Vox 5.3%: 510.60*0.947 = 483.53 Payment received on Aeon: 500 - 1.50 = 498.50 So it means use 483.53 pay 498.50, effective cb rate is 3% Example 3: pay 1500 Cost: 1500 + 30 (2% fee) + 1.8 (GST) = 1531.80 Vox 5% rebate: 50 (Maximum) Vox 0.3% rebate: 4.59 Cost after rebate: 1477.21 Payment received on Aeon: 1500 - 1.50 = 1498.50 So it means use 1477.21 pay 1498.50, effective cb rate is 1.42% But the 1.50 will be charge twice |

QUOTE(victorywp @ May 1 2016, 12:15 AM) so far i only see uob have this auto proportion feature. sometimes if i use ibg and overpaid one of the cc, the balance will got to the other cc and vice versa. even if you use cash deposit machine or cheque deposit machine, they will prompt the message about auto proportion. Dunno others but for me one card n vox share the same statement with vox acc number as the main |

QUOTE(eternity4av @ May 6 2016, 02:23 PM) quick questions fellow seniors, made an transaction but minimum payment is still empty, aware of the 20 days interest free period. so to maintain at 15%, should i pay after the minimum payment is updated with the transaction? Minimum payment will appear after statement date. Min payment will turn to 0 after u made the min payment amount |
