I just signed for the UOB One Card Platinum, which need to pay RM170 ++ annual fees and the consultant says first 2 years is waived automatically and subsequent yearly fees can be waived upon calling them.
But when I checked again, that clause actually falls under "Commercial card" whereby the list of fees is under credit card. Are these 2 separate stuff ? If yes then I think I just got cheated here.

QUOTE(fruitie @ May 15 2016, 01:49 AM) Any black and white for that? Rightfully, AF will be charged in second year onward. Waived for first 2 years clause actually falls under "Commercial card" whereby the list of fees is under credit card. And One Card Platinum is under commercial card. Anyway how these fees charges work ? After 1 year usage, then charge for 1st year or charged for 1 year prior usage?

QUOTE(fruitie @ May 15 2016, 02:24 AM) First year will be charged too but just that it will be waived most of the time if you start using it. For second year's AF, it will be charged in your anniversary month. Means upon start using NOW : May 2016 charged for 1st year. Assume May 2016 approved, May 2017 will be charged for 2nd year Or it goes as : Start using : May 2017 charged for 1st year. May 2018 charged for 2nd year Which is correct?
