Hi All,
May I ask for the UOB One card paying telco, what channel we should use in order to get the 2% rebate? UOBpayonline or network provider's website will do as long as the mcc code is indicated as telco company? *My Vox card's rebate already hit the limit, lol |

Hi All,
I would like to ask a question, let say my cc's statement date is 25th every month, i convert my purchase rm1200 into 6 months easi payment on 24th (1 day before statement closed), cs officer told me it would take few days to proceed. after my statement was disclosed, is it I could just pay rm200 even the outstanding balance was rm1200? |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Apr 29 2016, 12:00 AM) Nope. I believe your statement will capture as full RM 1.2k amount and you will need to pay full RM 1.2k. opps, if so, then no point i convert it into easi payment...@@If you have the intention for installment conversion, please do it earlier, some banks only allow few days after the purchase take place. if during the 20 days grace period, my easi payment application is processed, is it the outstanding balance will be changed accordingly? last time I waived my AF and CS told me that I can just pay (outstanding balance - AF) even if statement already out maybe i should just call UOB for clarification |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Apr 29 2016, 12:12 AM) AF and easy payment are different. Update :Yes, if it is processed before the statement is out, then it is fine. Well, better you clarify with CS. I don't do installment, so I could be wrong. If u converted ur purchase into easi payment just before statement was out, your easi payment will only processed on next statement cycle. you can just pay the amount (outstanding balance - your purchase amount). during next statement is out, you will have finance charges, we can just call CS to waive it by telling them it was because of easi payment conversion |

QUOTE(caesarx @ May 6 2016, 08:56 AM) Last time when i asked for waiver I never said will cancel the card. I have spent over 30k per year in my UOB one, but they still insisted i have to pay the AF,I just said i'm using UOB One card frequently (got monthly statements to prove), so please consider to waive my AF, then they waived for me. Plan to cancel this card after my installment is cleared. disappointed in UOB CS.. |

QUOTE(studz @ May 6 2016, 11:00 AM) UOB also charge the AF to my One card. I call to CS for waiver and they said under new policy cannot waive. have to submit request for approval. LOL. UOB think that's the only credit card in town kah? No point keep using a CC which require to submit for approval to waive the AF when the market have other options..... u see other ppl's post, some of them can easily get waiver, i think it depends on the CS's mood u called in. The one i called have low tone and seemed like dont care anything. |
