hmm.....devious....you have the same acer 4520 i have too. Though mine is working ok so far.

I tested on 7.04 oso can jalan, except got little problem with wifi coz must install acer-acpi, acerwificontroller and also ndiswrapper manually.

I am running the Gutsy Gibbon 7.10 64 bit AMD on my Acer 4520 complete with sound, graphics hi res and also wifi. Took me a day get it done, since i had to source for some of the drivers and my bband line sux. smile.gif

running for 1 week so far so good, i oso dual boot with Windows XP, only prob i have is trying to install wpasupplicant to allow wpa2 on my wifi at home. If not i have to just live with WEP for Ubuntu and all is good.

Added on January 13, 2008, 6:47 pmOk got it working just have to install wicd and get acerwificontroller and acer-acpi.

So i can safely say, Acer 4520 running Ubuntu 7.10 fully.
