Sign in to new house. Player number 95, tak orang hmm.gif

We need overhaul our team. Faster sell those who are inconsistent like Hazard. We need striker during this January window, but with Guus just being caretaker, I doubt he will bring in anyone. He can play youth players till end of this season, let us see especially our upcoming manager know which youth, young players very good and can adapt to PL football flex.gif

Chelsea beat Manchester United to sign Ajax U-16 captain Juan Familia Castillo

Chelsea have beaten Manchester United to the signing of Ajax midfielder Juan Familia Castillo, despite the Red Devils being first movers to secure his signature. The Blues made a late swoop for the 16-year-old and are believed to have offered better terms to Ajax, which turned the tide in their favour.

The Daily Mail reports that Guus Hiddink's influence had a major part to play in the deal coupled with uncertainty in United's youth academy. Castillo is captain of the Dutch U-16 team and has been earmarked for an extremely bright future in the near future.

United had opened talks with the player in November which went on till December, but their inability to move fast scuppered the deal, as Chelsea completed the transfer. This is the second time this season that United have lost out to Chelsea, having gone down the same road with Barcelona winger Pedro last summer, who made a last minute move to Stamford Bridge despite interest from Old Trafford.

Chelsea transfer news and rumours: Pedro set for exit; Alexandro Pato close to £7m move; Romelu Lukaku oversight

The latest transfer rumours and news to emerge from Stamford Bridge this morning
Samuel Stevens 16 hours ago

Spain winger Pedro wants to leave Chelsea in a last ditch attempt to rescue his career, after a torrid start to life in English football, according to the Daily Star. The 28-year-old signed from Barcelona last summer for £21m but has been unable to prevent a worrying slide in fortunes at the London club. He has scored just three goals in 24 games and was hauled off at half-time by interim boss Guus Hiddink after gifting West Bromwich Albion a goal in the 2-2 Premier League draw at Stamford Bridge last week.

The Dutchman, however, is believed to be keen on keeping Pedro on his books in the capital but the club's hierarchy, the report says, have other ideas. Valencia and Villarreal have shown an interest in the Spaniard in the past and may be tempted to try their luck this January if such rumours persist.

Chelsea are hopeful of completing a cut-price deal for Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato in the coming days, according to several reports this morning. The 26-year-old is expected to sign a three-year deal at Stamford Bridge after the Blues agreed a fee in the region of £7m with Corinthians. The Daily Mail suggest former AC Milan forward Pato is desperate to secure a return to European football - and is prepared to take a pay-cut in order to do so.

Hiddink has prioritised a new striker this January as Diego Costa struggles to find his form of old while Loic Remy is continually linked with a move away. Chelsea held talks with Pato's representatives and Corinthians on Tuesday night with Marina Granovskaia - club director and adviser to owner Roman Abramovich – said to be instrumental in negotiations. If the terms can be finalised, the deal should go through before the end of the week – possibly in time for the trip to Arsenal.

Blues target Saido Berahino remains in the dark about his West Bromwich Albion future amid further interest from Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Stoke City. The 22-year-old allegedly wants to leave the Hawthorns but is facing an uphill battle to persuade the West Midlands club to allow it. Spurs appeared the favourites to sign Berahino last summer but a disagreement between the two chairmen scuppered the deal.

Newcastle, eying a striker to spearhead their relegation battle, now appear to have stolen a march on their rivals, but the Blues are monitoring the situation. The Baggies, according to the Daily Mirror, would prefer to do business with either Chelsea or Newcastle to avoid sending their prized asset to White Hart Lane. Despite the former England under-21s star having just 18 months left on his contract, West Brom are determined to remain in charge of the situation and have shown their willingness to turn down big-money offers in the past.

If Romelu Lukaku, linked with a £50m move to Manchester United, leaves Everton next summer, Chelsea will be entitled to nothing after failing to agree a sell-on clause for the Belgian. The Times report this morning that the 22-year-old, whom the Toffees value at £60m, is free to move in future without worrying about a chunk of his transfer fee going back to Stamford Bridge.

The Blues hierarchy will come under intense scrutiny over the decision not to invest in the future when they sold Lukaku two years ago. According to the report, the Londoners made the same mistake with Kevin De Bruyne’s 2014 switch to Wolsfburg – losing out on a part of the £55m paid for the forward by Manchester City last summer. The move to let the pair leave Stamford Bridge is believed to have been a contributing factor behind the decision to sack Jose Mourinho last month.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp set to hijack Chelsea's move for Alex Teixeira

The Reds have launched a £24.6m bid for Shakhtar Donetsk's attacking midfielder as boss Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his attacking options.

Chelsea thought they were in pole position.

But Anfield chief executive Ian Ayre flew to Florida to hold face-to-face meetings with Shakhtar, who are in America for winter training.

Ayre is believed to have flown back to Merseyside last night but discussions are continuing.

Shakhtar president Rinat Akhmetov is not keen to let the Brazil attacker go in this transfer window unless their valuation of around £38m is met.

But Liverpool want to add more goals to their side after just 25 in 22 Premier League game so far.

And Teixeira, 26, has scored 22 goals in 15 league appearances so far this season with three strikes in six Champions League outings.

The Reds are hoping they can strike a deal with Shakhtar before the transfer window closes in 10 days' time.

Teixeira missed Shakhtar's 3-2 friendly defeat by Corinthians on Wednesday with reports of the Brazil star suffering a hamstring injury.

But Shakhtar boss Mircea Lucescu said: "I decided not to risk it and rest him."

Teixeira, who joined Shakhtar in 2010 from Vasco da Gama, is interested in a move to the Premier League.

Last month he said: "Playing in the Premier League is a personal dream, it's the best championship in the world."

Arsene Wenger: Arsenal will battle Chelsea ace Diego Costa... but we won't be wound up
ARSENE WENGER has warned his men to stay calm in their "battle" with Diego Costa.

By David Woods, Chief Football Writer / Published 22nd January 2016

Arsenal centre back Gabriel was sent off for a kick at the hothead striker when the Gunners lost 2-0 at Chelsea in September.

Gabriel's red-card was later rescinded, while Costa was instead banned for three games for shoving Laurent Koscielny in the face.

But with round two on Sunday, if Costa recovers from a shin injury, Wenger said: "We have to be prepared for a battle because Costa gives you a fight.

"After that, it's down to the referee."

Wenger was angry with Gabriel for allowing himself to be wound-up by Costa.

And the Frenchman confirmed he has spoken to his league leaders about keeping their cool when the challenges start flying.

"We are convinced that our points and our record are linked to our discipline," he said.

"On the day we suffered because we were a bit unlucky with the decision of the referee.

"I believe we have a very strong record on the disciplinary front in the Premier League, and we want to maintain it."

Mark Clattenburg - who allowed Costa to go unpunished, despite admitting he saw the Spain star put his studs into the chest of Liverpool's Martin Skrtel in November - will be in charge at The Emirates.

Arsenal are set to welcome back both Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

"The good news is that Ozil certainly will be available," Wenger said.

"Sanchez, the next two days will be decisive but, this time, I think he will make it for selection. Francis Coquelin is back in full training today, ahead of schedule.

"A few players are coming back. We're going into a very important period now, so to have people available is important for us.

"We have done extremely well during all this period when we had big players out, but it's just a good opportunity to have everybody back."

Wenger has ruled out a temporary ground share with local rivals Tottenham, while their new stadium is built.

And he has also warned Chelsea of the perils of playing at Wembley, while Stamford Bridge is redeveloped.

The Gunners played their 1998-99 Champions League games at Wembley and Wenger said: "It was a nightmare. In hindsight it was the wrong decision.

"At the time at Highbury we had to cut 5,000 seats. We decided to go to Wembley, but we didn't feel at home."

We have youth player, why not utilize them? See below news, our young player can score from halfway line like David Beckham, though I think he is more like Willian minus Willian experience of scoring free kick hmm.gif

I agree with u bro.

But our team has always contending for all competition so manager afraid cannot deliver die die must sign world class player

Perhaps after this when we target top 4 or top 10 eases a little bit of pressure and then can intro 2-3 youth in 1st team

Why not?
*
Yes, perhaps changing our club target to top 4 or top 8 just enough to enter Europe, will lessen pressure.
But big boss not like this eh laugh.gif

How about appointing our former players as our new manager? flex.gif

Source: http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/201...na-news-results

A round-up of how former Chelsea players turned managers are doing with their clubs.

Welcome to the first in a new bi-weekly wrap-up of the successes and failures of former Blues who are plying their trade as managers across the globe. In this extended special edition we pay added attention to Gus Poyet's adventure in Greece and the nervous times ahead of Dan Petrescu in China.

Resurrecting a Titan in Athens

Gustavo Poyet and his title chasing AEK Athens have had a fixture crammed January culminating in a whopping eight games. Incredibly AEK has won each of these, including a tense 1-0 league victory over rivals PAOK (in what is known as the 'double-headed eagles derby'). The victories also included a 4-1 dismantling of Iraklis in the Greek Cup on the 28th and a comfortable 3-0 win versus Veria on the 31st. AEK's unbeaten 2016 has seen them score 18 goals while only conceding a measly 3. The perfect run of form has seen them climb to 2nd in the Super League table, trailing bitter city-rivals Olympiakos by 16 points.

Poyet joined AEK on October 29th, 2015. The iconic Athens club - with 11 Super League crowns to their name - is coming out of one of the worst periods in their storied history. For the first time ever, AEK was relegated in 2013. The demotion was not helped by a three-point deduction they incurred thanks to their fans invading the pitch after a demoralizing loss to Panthrakikos. For financial reasons AEK decided to convert the club to amateur standing and thus self-relegated to Greece's League Two. Kept afloat by an investor group made up of famous fans and former players, AEK easily won League Two and League One in back-to-back seasons to re-enter the Super League in 2015. Expectations for AEK are on the rise, with fans hoping Poyet (whose contract expires this summer) can transform what was an epic Greek tragedy into a comeback story for the ages.

Is Dan the Man for China's Big Spenders?

Poyet's former teammate Dan Petrescu is another Chelsea old-boy suddenly feeling the pressure from increased expectations. The well-traveled Romanian is currently the gaffer at Jiangsu Suning. His club made a big splash this past week, signing Ramires for around £25m. Jiangsu are currently in pre-season gearing up for the beginning of the Chinese Super League. The club was purchased this January by Suning Commerce Group, who swiftly changed the club's name (prior to this they were known as Jiangsu Sainty). Jiangsu finished a disappointing 10th out of sixteen clubs in the last campaign, which was Petrescu's first season at the club. In 2015 Petrescu's men only managed 4 wins and suffered 10 defeats. Though their league form was poor, Jiangsu did win the Chinese FA Cup and thus earned a berth in the 2016 Asia Champions League.

This will be the second time Jiangsu has competed in Asia's most vaunted football competition. This year Jiangsu has been drawn in Group E alongside South Korean champions Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors and Vietnamese champions Becamex Binh Durong. The final place in Group E belongs to the winner of a playoff game between FC Tokyo and either Thailand's Chonburi or Myanmar's Yangon United.

With new management investing in talent and expecting a return, Petrescu could find himself in danger should Jiangsu not get off to a hot start. Both the Chinese Super League and the Asia Champions League begin in March. In preseason games these past two weeks Jiangsu fell to Slavia Prague 5-1, and lost a close game to Dynamo Kiev 3-2.

ELSEWHERE:

Nicolas Anelka may be fired in the coming days from his post as player-manager of Mumbai City in the Indian Super League. Both the league and team were established in 2014 and in Anelka's first season the club disappointed, finishing 6th out of 8 teams. Anelka's season was marred with arguments with his board and a sideline dust-up with his assistant coach. On the pitch Anelka failed to score in the 6 games he appeared in. It's rumoured that Roberto Carlos will take over at the club.

In Qatar Gianfranco Zola has Al-Arabi at a somewhat disappointing 5th place in the Qatar Stars League after 16 games played. Zola, who has Pierluigi Casiraghi as his number two and Kevin Hitchcock as goalkeeping coach, is still well liked by fans - thanks in part to his popular punditry on local TV. Al-Arabi, who Zola began managing in July 2015, are yet to win in 2016; drawing to Qatar SC last time out and losing to Al-Khor before that.

Hernan Crespo is in the thick of a relegation battle with Modena in Italy's Serie B. Crespo took the Modena job after Parma, where he was youth coach, disbanded in 2015. Modena avoided relegation by the slimmest possible margin last year and were expected to struggle again this season. On January 16th Modena lost 2-1 to Vicenza, getting two men sent off in the process. Modena drew 1-1 with Avelino on the 23rd and lost 2-1 versus Ternana on the 30th (where they had another player sent off). Modena are now 18th in the table.

In the Championship Slavisa Jokanovic is having a hard time at Fulham, who he joined on December 27th, 2015. In 7 games with the Cottagers he has had only 1 win to go with 3 losses and a draw. Fulham currently sits 19th in the league. Fulham were also booted from the FA Cup by Sheffield Wednesday on January 9th.

Also looking up at the Premier League is Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who took over at QPR on December 4th, 2015 - leaving Burton Albion, the current leaders of League One. QPR's January form under Hasselbaink has been mediocre. They had bore draws (Wolves, Forrest, and Blackburn), but pulled off a nice 3-0 victory over struggling Rotherham on the 16th. The Hoops currently sit 13th in the table.

In the lower leagues Frank Sinclair's Hednesford Town had 1 win and 3 losses in January and now find themselves 18th in the Vanarama Conference North table. Former Chelsea youth prospect Leon Knight's rollercoaster ride through management continues at Barnton FC. Knight's club currently lead the North West Counties Division One League Table after 20 games played, scoring 15 goals in their last 3 wins.

Yes, better than Stones and hopefully our next John Terry. Stones is kinda overrated, hear his mistake caused Everton to leak a goal in last few games ago. Coupled with Stones is HG, no wonder Stones price shoot up hmm.gif

By the way, I feel kinda sad seeing John Terry not going play for us next season cry.gif

Let hope our young players make into the first team.
Traore just scored his first goal, hopefully many to come.
RLC is proving as LB previously, is he still playing same position? Sometimes I forget who is playing what anymore. Except Costa our regular 1 striker in front.

Guus better mould more young players to make good cases for first team for next manager headache icon_idea.gif

We going great against Newcastle just in time to get back our confidence... and Terry is a worry during that match. After what happened to Zou, hope Terry well.

And Baba is doing pretty well, if not at least covering well during PSG match. Look like Baba got his chance now that both our CBs out... Still PSG how did Zlatan manage to maintain his hungriness and fitness is beyond me. Second leg at home, our fans will be out 12th person I hope icon_idea.gif

Hear many players wish for Guus to be retained for next season. But without Champion League or even Europe places unless we happen to win the FA cup, it is already difficult to maintain current existing players. The board has decided to offer new contract to Willian as he is our player of the season for this season thumbup.gif

Now the problem is we need recruit a new manager fast for new season. Otherwise new season come, players recruitment fund ada, but players dont want come due to no Champion League, no Europe, and in some cases, no popular or successful or convincing manager to train and polish them.

Seeing how MU youth player managed to score 2 goals recently in Europe, maybe it is time we promote youth players from our own youth. They played so well for youth for what, for investment and selling to other clubs meh? If we go Youth, we no need pay so much for new players and can invest into our new stadium coming soon, our finance pun strong flex.gif
