The board said since we can beat ars with these players, so no need reinforcement

Since Guus came back, Mikel has been brilliant! Btw, last night Matic was very solid too. I would love to see us go out there and buy a player like Teixeira in this window, but imo the board + Roman aren't willing to spend atm because we doesn't have a Perm Manager yet.

Loan move is good, as long as he comes in. New players bring something new to the team.
Agree on solid play of first half vs gunners, especially the period before the red card and goal.

dont think falcao leaving, apparently Monaco doesn't want him back, just deadweight in the squad.
Remy needs to do more to impress.

Two Chelsea midfielders linked to China moves

According to reports by both ESPN and Globoesporte, Ramires, who has been overlooked in recent times by interim manager Guus Hiddink, looks to be on his way to Chinese side, Jiangsui, after an apparent "irrefutable proposal" for both the player and the club. It was only three months ago, that the midfielder, who joined Chelsea in the summer of 2010, signed a contract extension running until summer 2019. The Guardian suggest that the transfer fee could be as high as £20 million, and that the departure might happen as soon as today.

According to the Daily Mail, John Obi Mikel, who has been a key figure thus far in Guus Hiddink's second tenure at the club just as he was in the first, is wanted at Shanghai SIPG by their manager, Sven Goran Eriksson. However, with Ramires' departure looking all but imminent now, it's highly unlikely that the club would be willing to part ways with the Nigerian as well.

i think remy just had it with having to impress. his body language shows he doesn't even want to play pun against arsenal.

i dont understand why remy/falcao>bamford.

What I love about these crucial 3 points is the fact that NONE of the pundits out there gave us a chance of getting ANYTHING out of the arsenal game. practically everyone was writing us off and claiming how arsenal are going to wipe the floor with us and wenger probably beaming with a triumphant post-match grin afterwards.

Like a couple of years ago when we put paid to pool's 'champions elect' status at anfield,it sure felt great to once again spit in the faces of all those wannabe pundits and piss on their one sided predictions.

I mean..I knew our form was patchy at best going into the game but come on,we're not that horrible. We worth a draw at least but I guess only chelsea fans could see that.

Hence that made victory much much sweeter.

Ramires to leave Chelsea for Chinese side Jiangsu Suning

Chelsea midfielder Ramires is close to a move to Chinese side Jiangsu Suning.

The 28-year-old, signed from Benfica for about £17m in 2010, is expected to join the Super League side for a fee which could reach £25m.

Ramires signed a new four-year deal in October 2015 but has only started seven Premier League games in a campaign in which the Blues have struggled.
Jiangsu finished ninth in China's top tier in 2015 and are managed by former Blues defender Dan Petrescu.

They also won the Chinese Cup in 2015 - the biggest honour in their history.

In his time at Stamford Bridge, Ramires has won the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League and Europa League.

what you guys think about 4-2-3-1 formation? for me the AM and CM role always conflicted especially when you have someone like Lampard and Cesc in CM role..thats why most of the time Oscar look like out of place..unless we use two defensive minded CM then the AM can fully function..

For me 4 2 3 1 i good when playing 1 dm with defensive mindset like mikel or last season matic and another dm with half defensive and half attacking like lampard. I see fab as full attacking dm player which is not entirely bad but if his partner can and will only need to cover him. If rb or lb leaking, the defensive dm need to cover it and this will create a big hole which is bad or the cb.

That is why i more to 2 dm with 1 totally defensive mindset and another with half attack half defense. To me fab is more toward full attacking dm right now.
