QUOTE(fu'house @ Jan 17 2016, 01:11 PM) I was thinking, Guus gonna head to his first defeat & Everton attacks are brillant at times. The cross was too good, if JT didn't block, Lukaku was behind him. He got it with his right foot, but went deflected on his left foot and went in. Nothing he could have done.Maybe the best when JT scored, a few kicks later and we can hear "Blue is the colour" resonating in the stadium. Just an inch to defeat, glad our legend stole a win from Everton and redeem back an own goal (which isn't his fault totally, the kick is strong and JT parried it and it went in anyway)..? Close to defeat Worse if they declare JT goal offside which is rather obvious, maybe the referee is on our side |

QUOTE(briantwj @ Jan 17 2016, 02:45 PM) until today it's still a mystery, how does the same set of players drop their performance until so bad. really dono. even after mourinho left, their spirits suddenly more uplifted. some player performance noticeably increase, but overall performance still shit, results still shit. |

QUOTE(Kerplunk @ Jan 18 2016, 12:17 PM) Still can't quite understand why baba isn't involved at least occasionally but I guess the boss doesn't rate him either?that's a lot of wasted dosh for a mere squad member from his limited performance so far, he does seem shaky at times when up against physical play in EPL. maybe thats why, i think, managers and coaches think he not ready for EPL. maybe against UCL games or FA Cup games he'll get more chances. |

Guus Hiddink pushing for new contract for Chelsea captain John Terry
QUOTE "If I'm asked I will give my honest opinion about his contract. If I say what I'm saying now, spontaneously out of my heart, then you can imagine what I think. But I fully agree on his importance, not just with Saturday's equalising goal but with his attitude and the actions he did defensively and offensively." "His commitment in capitals - in capitals - is huge for this team and this club. He's also progressing Kurt. I saw him [Zouma] from a distance previously and sometimes he was a little bit out of position but he's progressed very fast in the last year alongside Terry." "We need those kind of players but John is also doing his job defensively very well. With his age and experience, John is much more of a leader. Kurt is a very young player and not the type of leader John is yet." "For me there's not much difference between John in 2009 and now. You would have to underline that with data. You have to make tests that show he has lost some speed but with the eye I cannot see that. He's fit, he trains well and takes care of himself, which you have to do at that age. I cannot see that he is slowing down at all. He needs six more games to have played 700 for Chelsea and I think he will make that." -Guus Hiddink; source: Guardian http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/201...tract-extension |

QUOTE(hakka_jin @ Jan 18 2016, 04:22 PM) yup.... Jose did made some of the average players looks like world class... dont need apology la. its part of the game. even martinez said before, referee error is human error. human error is just part of the game. Last season, JT and Cahill - world class CB pairing. least amount of goals let in. Iva - best RB in BPL. Dave - best LB in BPL... Cortouis - world class, second only to De Gea's crazy performance. Hazard - world class Matic - absolutely world class Cesc - assist for you, you and you Costa - seems like the missing piece in the jigsaw puzzle This season, everyone went to shitzzz..... if u look at PES Collection game (android or IOS) those 5 star players in Chelsea squad last season are now 4 star... that's how terrible they are... and defending is still shit.... I think we owe the Evertonians an apology... the equalizer by JT was offside. we are sorry to take away two points from you guys. even itekderp aint mad we got no choice also, we cannot lose all 3 pts anymore. by hook or by crook we need to collect 1 point here and there just to stay in the league as champions |

QUOTE(hakka_jin @ Jan 18 2016, 04:45 PM) Yeah... 4 star is really give face... even some players retain their 5 star status which to me is not really relevant... Like Hazard is still consider a 5 star player.... hard to say. he was happy when RLC scored that goal during FA Cup game. i think he would be more than happy to see his investments in the academy come to fruition. We've won everything since Roman took over, so hopefully this next decade he will have more patience. Well, if there are no big names coming because we are not in UCL next season, then will it be good news for our academy? Can we be more like Arsenal where they produce quality youngsters that can be sold for big money? I doubt Roman wants that kind of buildup... Roman would rather splash the cash for the right players.... I also hope we buy high profile players IF we need to and rely on youngsters to come up next season. we are literally sitting on a diamond mine of youth players. just need to dig them up to the first team and polish and shine them. but we need to solve our managerial problem first after Hiddink leaves. |

QUOTE(hakka_jin @ Jan 18 2016, 05:03 PM) The problem is when Roman wants quick fix, manager that comes in won't rely on youth too much... BPL is such an unforgiving league for youngsters.... you really need backing from the board to play them regularly... I think Hiddink should be bolder in fielding youngsters since his stay is until the end of the season... nothing to lose... unlike Mou and previous manager.... result talks.... now that top 4 spot is gone, I think better test some of the youngsters.... RLC seems ready and so is Kenedy... but how ready are the other youngsters? Bamford being recall back early but I don't see him making the senior team.... sigh... yep, i agree. although still mathematically possible, but its too far away. might as well throw some youth into battle. ake and solanke and a few other still out on loan, so can leave them there to develop. Bamford i think will be sent out on loan again... but who knows? maybe Hiddink will keep him, since Falcao cannot send back to Monaco and most probably won't play for the rest of the season. on top of that, we not reinforcing in our striker department. but for now so far so good. get to see Kenedy and RLC playing more. hopefully next season they stick to the first team and recall ake Christensen and maybe Kalas to play as well |

Chelsea willing to let Traore go
Chelsea are ready to offload Bertrand Traore to Everton. The Sun claims the reigning Premier League champions are willing to let the midfielder join Roberto Martinez's men on loan. However, it is understood the Toffees will need to pay the 20-year-old's wages, thought to be around £40,000-a-week, in full. Ramires for Gundogan Borussia Dortmund are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea's defensive midfielder Ramires. Spanish outlet Fichajes claims Dortmund will attempt to sign the Brazil international, who is apparently unsettled at Stamford Bridge, this January. The 28-year-old has been frozen out by new boss Guus Hiddink, with the Dutchman preferring John Obi Mikel in the heart of midfield. It is even understood Ilkay Gundogan, who has been linked with Liverpool, could be used a spart of the deal. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/...mours-live.html |

Arsenal are understood to be eyeing up a transfer bid for Chelsea’s young defender Ola Aina.
Whispers coming out of the Emirates Stadium suggest the club see the 19-year-old as a replacement for Mathieu Debuchy, who is set to leave the club this month. Aina would be available on a free transfer at the end of the season after refusing a new deal at Chelsea. Reports claim that Aina was booted back to the Chelsea under-21’s after refusing the new deal |
