lai_dm what type of camera to be able to capture? Can mirror less camera does the work?

cool....must be difficult to climb at night since there is no light and has to rely on torch light only?

especially for someone like me who dont usually go hiking will be more difficult

planning an outing tomorrow since it is new moon night this weekend, only 3 person include me but the location has not decided yet

City area kinda hard to get clear Milky Way, must go to a place where less light polution at night... I wonder Genting Highland have such place during night time.

I doubt you can, because genting got a lot of lights

a fast lens and good camera for better image quality only

basically u need a tripod because u must take long exposure shot

yes, it is a new moon night so there wont be light pollution from the moonlight

for cheras you might need to go until hulu langat to get a good shoot

guys whr in sekinchan can get good loc

possible but difficult, i heard sekinchan has quite a lot of light pollution, you might need to go further northeast to get a better shoot

depends on the light pollution, it is difficult to see the milky way with bare eyes, but you can see a cluster of stars at the center of milky way

yes fraser hill can shoot very nice milky way

any place above clouds level can see very clear sky
