Testing rear view mirror mount with the D201... The mount feels abit loose though... See if can mod a bit or not...

Attached Image Attached Image

With the rear view mirror mount, I can finally use 3 meter mini USB I bought to connect to the Aukey USB car charger to power my D201 as the original mount is blocking the mini USB port on the D201. So I can use less power sockets...

The mount to the dashcam is loose as the mount is a bit smaller size than then original... Can move by itself left and right... Now thinking of something else but no time to try....

wide angle is nice 170, but 2016 no wifi support is like a no-no for me. i still currently still using 2013 lukas 7700. thinking upgrading to blackvue / lukas / transcend latest model with wifi support. you'll need wifi to transfer video without SD Card ready at laptop, its much hassle.

To me is not much a hassle as I have MicroSD OTG card reader... Faster than using wifi to download... laugh.gif I like Blackvue DR650GW more but RRP RM1399 sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif Transcend DrivePro520? Feels more for chauffeurs or taxis to use with the interior cam... LOL! DrivePro220 a few users in Honda City club members in FB, their DP220 battery died in less 6 months... Most have "upgraded" to iRoad V7 or V9... Heard those using V7 complaining night video is lousy and 720p only... Still waiting for those V9 users as it's using Sony Exmor sensor at 1080p...

I got this coming on the way http://www.gearbest.com/car-dvr/pp_293569.html Using Novatek chipset with Sony Exmor sensor and have wifi... Found a discount code for it too...

Be careful if using li-ion battery type, my sj4000 battery become "round" after using it for a year.

From rectangle become oval shape. doh.gif

>I never remove it from my windscreen, so basically 12h a day under hot sun. laugh.gif laugh.gif

That's the problem we are facing in this country. So priority is can withstand heat.

My old EH63 changed battery 3time in 3years. Normally I'll change it once it goes bloated. Never take any risk, li-po batt is cheap. I buy dozen on it and charge to safe mode and store it at freezer with li-po storage case.

24/7 365day mounted. And mine is running with parkin g mode with 2hour shut down delay setting.
