IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Warranty terms changed:
Effective immediately, all mechanical keyboards sold by me in the past and in the future, the switches will be covered under warranty FOR AS LONG AS I SELL KEYBOARDS
Previous warranty terms was: one month only This is because of a few reasons, namely:
1) Since my sales started early this year (and about 204 +/- units since), there has only been 3 cases of mechanical keyboard problems (factory defect/lemon unit, buyers found out within 3 days of using - new identical units were replaced, post-haste)
2) The factory is now implementing triple check procedures as result of our negotiations for any keyboard sold to me and me only (in contrast with people buying from resellers in China and then selling again, often times buyer will run into a lot of issues, mostly minor such as outdated version or shipping damage. **NOTE: This is only for LingYi products, I Am still in the middle of requesting for the same procedure 2) to be enforced with AULA and MOTOSPEED.
3) In addition to the triple check procedure, I also check the integrity of keyboards once it reaches me, I will open the box, double check the correct unit and test it.
4) Want to maintain the competitive edge and secure buyers' doubts.
Thanks.

So instead of waiting two weeks, the waiting period is now only ONE WEEK. 13th May: is your budget higher than RM230? Check out this thread for RGB keyboard https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=3945749 4th May: Just FYI: swap with your item accepted (offer me) no promises on swap but if you have something that I might need then okay. IMPORTANT Notice On Buying Grey Import

25th April '16: FYI to all new interested buyers, it is not compulsory to buy from me, but I am the only one so far who is in direct contact with factory, if there are other sellers selling on LYN or Facebook (on FB I am Wayne Cheah), it is okay to buy from them but PLEASE double check with them on which LingYi batch is it, all orders that go through me will be custom-created (U pay me deposit, I pay full to factory, factory MAKES for you). There are a few sellers who buy from RE-sellers and end up having older version of LingYi (usually January 2016 and before batch) Why is this important? Different lighting mode, please view the two videos on this post, the first video recorded in Jan 2016 compared with Logitech G710 is the OLDER MODEL, now there is a NEW MODEL since late February 2016, which is in my SECOND VIDEO (the one with my face) If you are buying now, PLEASE insist on the newer model as it is A LOT more improved (LED is now inside the switch and not outside, this minimizes all ESD damage to LED like older Ducky Shine and Razer keyboard models and will make it last longer) PLUS better switch integrity and much better lighting modes)
Customer who didn't have a keyboard to use couldn't wait so he had no choice but to find other seller for ready stock end up getting old model (not his fault, since he urgently needed to use a keyboard):
15th April '16: I TRY to be the friendliest seller on LowYat and Facebook, but if you're one of those idiots with unprofessional attitude of trying to deal with me and keep on giving excuse that you don't want to make deposit, and then end up when the mechanical keyboard arrives, you FFK (fong fei kei)/mungkir janji and disappear + block me on Whatsapp causing me to lose my own money bringing in stock for you, I really hope your life gets worse and karma bite you back in the ass. Really fed up with this type of people. You will appear in my blacklist if you still do not want to sincerely apologise to me or collect keyboard with me within 2 weeks of receiving stock. ***THIS IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO NEVER PAY DEPOSIT AND THEN LARI
***Order updates please go to this postin next thread*** It is better to PM me to check as batches are always expanding rapidly, hardly have any time to update on thread

**PRE-ORDER, need to wait 9~13 days MAX after payment made** No longer 2 weeks, it is now 1 week or less. now mostly ready stock
Hi, straight to the point: Malaysian Ringgit has really gone to shit these days (for peripherals Razer, Logitech products all prices raised by at least 30% due to USD dropping) and we Malaysians aren't getting much better and are tightening our belts, thankfully, China is here to the rescue.
Bringing in this brand of extremely popular keyboard (because the quality is GOOD and the price is BETTER)
GENERAL INFO (recommend to watch video above): i) It uses Outemu switches (google for more info, but they're good). ii) Made from high quality aluminum base on switches, top of the keyboard is purely metal and not plastic iii) Will last up to 50 million keystrokes (industry standard) iv) Good cable management (braided cable as well, same with other expensive mech keyboard brands, etc.) v) Lights cannot change colour, what you see in the photo is what you get for the lights IF YOU WANT CHANGEABLE LIGHTS (MEANING RGB) Please visit next besellers: a) With numpad, AULA Wings of Liberty RGB with GATERON switcheshttps://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=3945749 b) WITHOUT numpad, Fuhlen RGB TKL with Kailh switcheshttps://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=4016761 vii) Two base colour choices, black or white viii) Can adjust brightness, switch off LED ix) Win Lock function, and so so many other useful functions!
SWITCH OPTIONS AVAILABLE: OUTEMU BLACK OR OUTEMU BLUE SWITCHES (Blue is clicky, more tactile, black is linear switch)
There are no other mechanical keyboards at this pricing that will give you pretty LED lights. Next cheaper option would be to get Razer BlackWidow or Corsair mechanical keyboards that easily costs over RM700 to have similar lights (i.e. BlackWidow Chroma and K95 RGB) Although of course, you get what you pay for.

Nice item. It looks like premium item and has beautiful construction for its price.
It has a rather solid feel to it, yes. Definitely does not feel like a cheap keyboard.
Although truth to be told, if our economy were better, we could all get better keyboards.. but.. things are getting so much more expensive these days, it's unbelievable. as a PC enthusiast yourself you should understand what I'm talking about.
Keyboards like this one in this thread is good for the value, considering that other mech keyboards are around RM400+ now anyway (without lights it's RM300 something, if that's an important factor) this will serve as a good starter pack to mech keyboards.

Yeah i agree with you. The price fluctuation in these few months has been hard to most pc enthusiast. I hope the economy will recover soon or it will effect even the most budget gamers

can set the colour to just one colour?
I'm afraid not, for the ones I'm bringing in they are all mixed colours and will only stay at that colour. I believe this brand has single colour (blue lights) but I'll need to check, I will get back to you via PM.
QUOTE(abepaih @ Jan 15 2016, 09:37 AM)
the LED is customized? or it already has ready programmed pattern only?
Only ready programmed light modes, obviously can't beat chroma but the animations are nice, but at 1/4 the price, this is definitely way worth it (at 180 the only branded lighted keyboard you can get is a logitech G105, I was using one, lights are nowhere near as pretty and it's not a mechanical keyboard)

Just to update, LingYi keyboards do not have single colour LEDs ugh, I blame the hype over the RGB keyboards.
Letme know if you're still interested, ORDERS ARE STOPPING ON THE 19th** Chinese New Year is coming, so nothing in China will work, if you order before next week, can still get before CNY. From end of January until late February no orders can be made (Chinese New Year holidays in China are nearly a month long)
The keycaps, is it standard size (easy to get for caps porn?) and wonder the led light lifetime. somehow its easy to pop off and the difficulty to self-switch out the led.
thanks. and I want 1 unit of TKL - White base (LED porn) - Blue Switch. Transfer to you on Monday or Tuesday - waiting bonus

I can't be too sure if it's standard size keycaps, I'll ask, LED.. quite sure it has standard life expectancy.. it'll probably be 3 years old by the time anything happens. heck even them Chromas die out if you're unlucky, it's not like Corsair's LEDs where they are protected from.. that electric problem that causes it to burn out.
hey man, confirm ahh? reply me confirm again and i'll place an order right now with my own money for you first (or if it's possible I'd appreciate if you could transfer me 50% first, then pay me the rest when we meet up or when it arrives, to cover my own butt), scared it gets delayed a month if i wait until monday or tuesday to order.

is it only black and blue swith? I assume the outemu switches are replicating the cherry blue and blacks?
Aye, for this brand they're only using black and blue switches. You are correct, I believe there are comparison videos between blues against actual cherry blues, though not lingyi, works the same way. Today's the last day, letme know if you're ordering.
Great, can't wait to receive it. its really cheap that comes with LED. wallet saved. will compare it with my filco blue switch on the different if any.

To be honest I'm currently a bit nervous on the order, keyboards are on the way (yours along with four others). 5 keyboards = 7kilograms but volumetric weight counted by courier is at 9+ kilograms wtf, paying money out of my own pocket now, quite sure this batch alone has costed me some of my own money out of my wallet rookie mistake,
