QUOTE(sss2sssss @ Jul 16 2016, 10:18 PM) Maybe u need emergency solution: Thanks bro. Problem solved. 1) download this, this is the aboot partition of the 7.2.4.0 which the fastboot mode still can access the edl mode: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bx3JyADgcb...ew?usp=drivesdk 2) reboot ur phone to fastboot mode 3) at ur pc with fastboot access provided, type this(this one can be flash even in locked bootloader): fastboot flash aboot emmc_appsboot.mbn 4) reboot ur device to fastboot again with this command: fastboot reboot-bootloader 5) type this command, see the “bootloader status” got appears or not: fastboot oem device-info 6) if got then type this, as soon as u type, press and hold vol+ and vol- button together. fastboot oem edl 7) assuming you had already installed mi flash, your pc is able to detect as the Qualcomm loader with COM port show, download ur fastboot ROM and put to Mi flash to flash, remember to select flash all script and "flash all" before you flash |

QUOTE(zamanjaafar @ Jul 17 2016, 03:17 PM) something strange: Hopefully u didn't mistaken "slash" for "backslash" for SN.my MY set unable to authenticate using MI Product Authentication Website by IMEI and SN. However, I am able to authenticate successfully using Mi Verification App. Also, try cross checking your box imei with your phone info. I noticed that phone info 1 and 2 having different imei number. |

Quick Charge enabled Xiaomi chargers model list: 1) MDY-03-EC Input 100-240V, Output 5V/2A, Normal Charger 2) MDY-08-EF Input 100-240V, Output 5V/2A, Normal Charger 3) MDY-03-EB Input 100-240V, Output 5V/2A or 9V/1.2A or 12V/1A, Quick Charge 2.0 4) MDY-08-EH Input 100-240V, Output 5V/2.5A or 9V/2A or 12V/1.5A, Quick Charge 3.0 Those people which is bought local set can help verify your Mi 5 charger model? QUOTE(zamanjaafar @ Jul 16 2016, 07:59 PM) I saw my GF's Malaysia set, also using Input 100-240V, Output 5V/2A or 9V/1.2A or 12V/1A. My import set is using Input 100-240V, Output 5V/2.5A or 9V/2A or 12V/1.5A. But mine is using 2 pin socket, china version |

QUOTE(Despatchboy @ Jul 19 2016, 11:02 AM) bro, just a silly question, although flashed the global ROM but after factory reset will it go back to China ROM? Nope, factory reset will only wipe your data/cache. And its not a silly question, the word "factory reset" do sound like wipe out everything from the phone. |
