When it comes to quitting cigarettes for good, there are many factors which come into play. Those factors will vary from person-to-person. Most important are: how badly you want to be free from tobacco and how strong is your determination.

Some will not feel that it's hard to substitute vaping for tobacco entirely.
Some find it fast and easy to use vaping as a cigarette substitute for a while, and then quit vaping.
Others will find it harder to quit vaping entirely.

To those who want to use vape as a smoke-cessation aid, I can say this: find an e-juice which will be most suitable to replace tobacco. If you can find one ready-made, that's great! If all the juices you tried seem to be somewhat lacking, then consider blending one to your own taste. This will entail you mixing your own juice.

I'm not going into varying nicotine levels here...that's for you to decide what you feel comfy with.

Firstly get a tobacco base flavoring which is closest to your usual brand of ciggys. Then enhance it with some (or all) of the following:

Black Fire flavoring will give a smokey feel to your juice. Start of at 3% if you are a pack-a-day smoker. 4.5% recommended for chain-smokers (2 packs or more/day). This can also be added to ready-made juices to make them taste more like real cigarettes with burning tobacco.

If that's too strong, use Black Devil (unrelated flavor) in the same proportions, or do 1.5% of Black Fire and 1.5% of Black Devil.

Feel the need for a thicker, richer tobacco aroma? Add in 1.5% to 3% French Pipe flavoring. Go easy with this....it is strong and can overpower other flavors.

u mean u using the occ? well i usually go around 0.20 ohm lowest and wont bother with ss if its too low 0.03 - 0.08 and just go for kanthal i find the hassle is too much and would just use kanthal A1 and muji the taste would not be the same but at least almost there lol

No am using rba, TF-R3 on TFV4. its 3 coil build.. hence resistance become so low.. can't even fire this in power mode actually i actually also prefer 0.2-0.3ohm

Well yeah a bit of hassle, but using tc i kinda worry less that i will burn the cotton.. should last longer, but let see..so far so good.. my griffin tank has been just sitting around since i started to use the tf-r3 rba.. it turned the tfv4 to be a much better tank now..

Me also 1-2 pack red dunhill a day and i manage to 100% quit it in 2 weeks time after vaping.
Yes, it kinda hard to have the kick after meal......i use 12mg cigar juice after meal, it really helps a lot. 3 big puff enough already. Got the kick. U can try it.

I tried Kilo 12mg once on a dripper. I almost died twice in one go. Beh tahan, too strong. Good for you that youve quit. I think the after eat phenomenon (dats wad i myself call it) of Dunhill is not the nicotine. Its the tummys satisfaction. The snake eye effect steam.

Man lol..You can try buy some tight draw tank with a tiny air hole and tiny hole in the driptip (mouth to lungs) just to be use right after your meal to satisfies your cigs crave. Is is similar like when you're smoking a cigarette because of the restrictive inhale you feel like on the butt of the cigs. You can use that tank with your 12mg nic ejuice with no problem, you wont cough or die lol..

and use your rda for leisure type of vape, when you chillax and bored but felt you needed something in your mouth.

Slowly buy surely, you will succeed. You probably wont need the 12mg after awhile.

Problem is the market has been bombarded with the "advance" devices that new comer finds it hard to make the switch completely, leaving cigs all together. Thats why you see some people tends to smoke and vapes because they cant satisfy the "feel" they get from a cigarette. I just dont understand sometimes, people bought new device whenever it is out on the market just to follow the "trend" of the latest device yet they failed to quit the cigs in the first place.

I used to smoke 2-3 packs a day. After done reading about vaping, I quit smoking. Vaped about 5-6 tanks of subtank mini a day for local 6mg and I realized this is ridiculous. After 2 weeks, I went with Twelve Taurus and Five Pawns Gambit 12mg. Started to vape less and dropped to 2-3 tanks a day. I cut back to 6mg US juices after 2 months. Now I'm switching between 3mg and 6mg. Had to rely on myself for 3mg juices because rarely any juices with this strength.

If you want to quit smoking, control yourself and vape more. Look for juices that doesn't hammer you that has 12mg for starters.

Do you mean something like Goblin Mini? Coz atm i just tried one. I think i can relate to what you said. Now waiting for Hoblin Mini v2 setup.

But 12mg. Hmm...i tried one on aromamizer, quite allright. Only 3 puffs. Max limit. Ill reconsider.

Im on 6mgbut 1 tank lasts me 1 to 2 days. Probably im more on RDA on tanks. Tanks doesnt give me the satisfaction. Tanks are more for my busy/lazy days.

Try it on a tank. I got 1 tank just for this juice....Liqua Cuban Cigar Tobacco 12mg, really nice. Is an Italian Juice. Put it on the tank for 5 days....coil and cotton still clean.
1 Goblin mini 3ml tank for this juice can use for 3-5 days.

P/S: Tired this juice on dripper........aiyoyo, totaly no sound when wanna talk

One of the reason i opted to brew my own juice is because i need 9mg liquid and usually shop sell 6mg and 12mg.. I tried 12mg its too hard.. 6mg i feel wanna drink it only.. Lol.. 9mg is right for me atm.. It can hold me from smoking, even after meal crave.. I brew my liquid not to make it smooth feel, but intentionally try to give more throat hit.. So when my friend tried my liquid, they said not good bcoz its harsh.. They prefer smooth liquid, but yet smoke occasionally especially after meal.. Maybe you can consider making your own juices

If only i have the resources (time+moolahs).
As for now ill opt for my friends and LYN brewers.

Speaking about resources, i have limited time too, work and small kid.. But think about you can spend probably and hour or less to make 100ml (or more) of juice which can last almost a month.. Rather then spend time to go to shop to buy..

Speaking about moolah, it is definitely cheaper than buying premade juice..

Start with by using existing recipe.. I don't mind to give the recipe i used.. And i think some user here too.. So u just take the list of flavors, buy them, and mix.. If you lazy to do fancy steeping, just leave it in drawer for longer time (3-4 weeks) after that your juice will definitely be ready.. I can ensure you it will be 100% vape able, eve though it might not me superb.. If you are lucky, it might taste better than the US juice

Kinda limited experience here with tfv4 since i just started at the end of last year and when searching for an occ tank i went for the uwell crown and imho the best single coil tank for its price. Oh using a griffin ? Been testing tc and non tc mode with ss coils and let the pic attached shows you the result

Which one of the above mods is better overall. Looking for perspectives from exisiting/previous owners before I lay my hands on em and decide which to keep.

Also heard from people Vaporshark DNA40 not recommended to get now. Any particular reason?

Tanks that have small little airflow hole like for example, and not limited to: Kayfun's, Taifun's, heck even the Aspire Nautilus and Nautilus Mini.

The tank itself looks weird long and "not cool" to some, but nowadays got some kinda conversion kit (nano kit iinm) to make the tank smaller, and looks cooler..
I dont think you can properly mouth to lung with Goblin mini even with the closed air flow hole. You could try tho..not sure.

Cant get over how the U-Well Crown's RBA airflow less than the stock coils any tips anyone?

Btw, got a bottle of Breakfast at Teleos/Crunch wanna let go, 95% juice left. Let go at 70 pj/subang area any takers?

I know in Japan you can only get 0mg ejuice - any problem in bringing in your own juice for personal use? Will be going there for 10 days next week.

I've had bad luck at immigration / customs twice in Japan (stuck for hours) and don't want to repeat that again !
