Hi, My wife is 33 weeks pregnant and we are seeing DR Balakrishnan Subramaniam at Hospital KPJ Kajang. Please share comments/review/experience under this Doctor or any doctor at KPJ kajang for pregnancy time and delivery.
For us, the consultation has been good. He takes around 200rm per consultation including ultrasound, images and vitamins and all. For Delivery, the standard packages are roughly 2400 (4 bedded), 2600rm (2 bedded), 3000rm (4 bedded) including nursery and consultation for normal delivery only without any complication.). These all are good to us. What we worry about is the delivery. I heard at Private Hospital, Doctors have tendency to opt for C Section rather than waiting for normal delivery.

Anyone has experience of giving birth under Dr Balakrishnan at KPJ kajang? Whether he is patient enough to wait for the normal delivery or he is too impatient that he often has a tendency going for C Sec and all? Please share ur experience. Even if you were under any other doctor at Kajang KPJ, please feel free to share ur experience.

We are also thinking to have my wife delivered at Hospital Kajang (Govt Hos). We are foreigners, therefore the delivery cost will be almost the same as Kajang KPJ since from 2016, the Govt Hospitals increased their prices for delivery for foreigners. Still, anyone having been delivered at Hospital Kajang, feel free to share the experience.

My opinion: Got to public hospitals eg Hospital Kajang, as even though they may be packed, they are better equipped.Sure there is less privacy, but its the safety of the baby and mother that counts. I've been hearing many sordid tales of private hospitals keeping the baby and mother warded just to milk the patient out of their money (unless you don't care about money at all, and have lots of them). Do you guys have the government clinic red book?

May I ask if you proceed to KpJ kajang, dr. Balak? How was the experience? Thanks.
