Ok,so just download and start .msu file (x86 or x64) to install.

Edit:
.msu is easier then .cab files to install.

After restart ,type "winver" in search .....to check your build number.

I'm on release preview, don't wanna be among the first to explore bugs plus my laptop is quite old
but yeah I've been an insider since November but no major bugs were found at all, it's great smile.gif

weird; all my active machines (3 of them) went through well.

edit: for those who failed to install this, you can try the following:
1. rename and copy kb319446 .cab file into a bootable w10 usb stick;
2. create a temporary folder in c:, e.g. c:\tmp;
3. boot the machine with the usb stick; choose repair computer > command prompt;
4. assuming your c drive is at c:, and your usb stick is at e:, run the following command:

dism /image:c:\ /add-package /packagepath:e:\kb3194496.cab /scratchdir:c:\tmp

Take a dump file of the application that is hanging and analyze using windows debugger. You can see then what its causing it to lag or hang.

honestly, when you reach this stage, i really think the better idea is to do a clean install.
