1, use it when you need to book an urgent flight, like tomorrow to hkg.

2, use it on long haul routes, cause their fare are rarely get discounted. i.e HND, MEL, LHR etc

If u wanna go BKK like tmr, then use ur miles, otherwise use ur money lar, unless ur miles expires tmr.

Is it a better option if I quote my (say for example) Qatar membership for all my future MAB flights, and the intention is just to actually get Tier membership at Qatar instead of Enrich anymore.

flying on partner airlines in oneworld is non existent. you can try, but you will find that mas will never give you any miles at all unless you fly using their own enrich card or flying at full fare price for economy.
to know how much is full fare price for economy, kul to bkk - 2k per pax.

qr is much more generous in giving miles, but redemption also very difficult.

How to know how much enrich miles is required to go certain location? Theres a lengthy write up in CC thread but still don't understand. ..say i have about 60k enrich miles now..
