Hi everyone! I really wish u all can help me. I would really like to know if any of u know where are the Ninty counters in Singapore. I want the counters to be near Orchard Road please.

Never seen Maxsoft counters there... Maybe that's just me...
By the way gameshops around Orchard Road are so sg wang-ish. The shopkeepers know next to nothing about games, and they never stock in jap games.

There are a few nice shops in S'pore tho eg. SeowChoon, Gamescore, Funzcentre...

Oh good to know. You see I'm going to SG for 3 days ONLY and I obviously don't have much time to look for game stores. So I decided I ask u guys. My dad gave me 400$ to spend and I'm saving them now:)

Orchard road might not be the best place to look for games? Why not try Funan or SLS or some of those it centers? You could check gamescore too, they have a site, gamescore.com.sg

Gamescore, Game1 --> Funan. Shopkeepers in Gamescore are mostly NDS addicts. Good service. Game1 was under renovation during my trip to S'pore but is reopened coz my cousin bought PSP there.

SeowChoon --> few branches. Went to liang court branch before to help friend get Bleach DS. Service not bad.

Funzcentre --> Located at Ang Moh Kio Centre. Never been there but friend recommended them.

Playboxx --> Located at Tampines. Never went there either but its name often appears in Singapore forums so I guess it's no bad too.

Hate dealing with those in Orchard Road. One of them handed me a Princess Peach when I asked for Bleach DS. Another told me Bleach is a comic, like I care. And the games(expect PSP games) they're selling are very very limited, exactly like Sg Wang.

Better take MRT to find those good shops instead.

Gamescore is frankly to my experience, one of the best in s'pore as they are run by true gamers.

They were one of the few stores in s'pore to bring in those limited US exclusive releases like FF12 CE, Portable Ops PSP case pre-order and that Castlevania anniversary version.

But take note, their prices are slighty higher than the rest.

There is a video game store located at Tampines and Jurong (basically the two ends of Singapore) called Mega Multimedia which always have a healthy supply of games, but caters more to families rather than hardcore gamers like Gamescore.

In a nutshell, if you are looking for limited editions.etc, check out Gamescore but if you are looking for reasonable priced easy to find games, go to Mega Multimedia.
