QUOTE(JackieJack88 @ Jan 13 2016, 10:13 AM) oh, but may i know any different with 4GB DDR5 and 2GB DDR5?? 4GB & 2GB any different on game? or its same just a little bit?? Actually GTX-960M is not really enough if you want to set all games with the highest Ultra Setting.Recommended source for GTX-970M (6GB edition) which around 60 to 70% faster than GTX-960M. For RAM wise, I read somewhere 2GB is not really enough for certain new graphics intensive games. This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Jan 15 2016, 03:22 PM |

Mostly these VRAM are used for texture filtering and rendering, VRAM hungry games such as crysis 3 has huge terrain (geometry, vegetation...etc) will need you to equip a gpu with greater memory.

And DDR5, DDR3 are just for version only right?the ram used to preload renders and textures but in this case 960M is better for FHD gaming at high settings so 2GB dah cukup |

The reason why I suggest GTX 970M if you want to play games in Full HD Ultra Setting.

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Jan 19 2016, 12:47 AM) Price-performance wise, GTX970/970M certainly does its job too! However, my suggestion is to wait for this year's nvidia pascal architecture GPUs (if TS can wait for several months more). |

The 900 series just start flooding market, don't think so soon even after announcing. This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Jan 19 2016, 10:21 AM |

And also within ur budget. |

Do not buy the DDR3 version, they'll be much more performance penalty compared to 2GB vs 4GB. In fact, the 2GB is quite enough for the 960M today because setting graphic quality higher which requires 4GB, and you're still bottleneck by slow GPU core.
Suggestion: Dell Inspiron 15 7559 RM3699 + 256GB SSD SATA & 4GB RAM RM700 Total RM4400. |
