I need some advise.

I have..
1. Component set (Tweeter, Mid-speaker 6", Crossover)
2. A pair 3-way Speaker 6" x 9"
3. A pair 2-way Speaker 6"
4. A pair Satria Original Speaker 6"
5. 2 pcs Subwoofer 10"

Amplifier..
1. 400 Watt 2 channel
2. 1000 Watt 2 Channel
3. 1200 Watt 4 Channel

I'm drive Satria. So..
1. Which speaker should I choose and not. Or use all?
2. How about the speaker and the amp combination?
3. Is it good if I use electronic crossover?
4. Is it good if I use farad? Will it make the sound better or give any effect to car's electric?
5. Is there any additional information?

For SQ normally not advise to put any speaker at rear,,,
But if you still want, you can put 2 way coxial speaker but power by HU...

I see. A complete ICE system would be HU, tweeter, 6.5" mid bass for front door, 4" coaxial for rear and a subwoofer for trunk, amp and active crossover. Is this right?

Almost correct, except you have to omit the 4" coaxial.

i disagree.

having the 4" for the rear is alright. but a 6" is better tongue.gif

the most basic ICE setup i can think of...

*HU
*1x 2 channel amp
-connected to front 2way 6.5" components
*1x 2 channel amp or monoblock amp
-connected to sunwoofer
*6.5" 2way components or 2way coaxial speakers
-connected directly to HU.

some people opt to take out the rear speakers completely. but then ur rear passengers will only hear boom boom boom. the setup i listed above would help give the rear passengers a nice listening without compromising soundstage.

bro.. it's not farad.. it's called capacitor.. if u r a person into a very very bass listener.. then u might need 1.. if not, then juz save up the money..

crossover? some of the headunit and g00d quality amps such as a/d/s, alpine ... etc.. has an accurate crossover built-in..

btw.. have u drop down ur budget?

hehehe.. yes, capacitor. I don't know why I always mention it as farad. hahahaha..
last month, I now sure is it electronic crossover or something else but I saw it writen there, dolby surround by alpine.

I think it's good if i use to watch movie. Actually, i have my own planning but I need some advise. smile.gif

So, I think no need to use the capacitor.

hie guys notworthy.gif

I have rather a stupid noob question that I wanted to ask (yeah, since Im a newbie myself)... tongue.gif

why is it most ppl would recommend if we want to use rear 2 way speakers, we shud power it up straight from HU rather than from amp.....if we use amp, we shud only connect the amp to front comps/coaxs and not the rear speaker...... rclxub.gif

would this spoil the sound quality or sound staging setup if amp is connected to rear speakers sweat.gif ?

also jebatderhaka, its good u listed down ur current setup and wat u wanted thumbup.gif , perhaps why u keep on thinking of farad is becos capasitor's measurement unit is farad....hahahaha.... tongue.gif laugh.gif
