Flyme OS and CM12.1 based on android 5.1 released. Anyone interested in flashing it?

Noob question here. I bought this Redmi 3 at DirectD. Can DirectD detect whether the phone has been rooted or not, if one day I really root this phone? I kind of dissatify with all the bloatware and thinking about rooting this phone. But I don't have the stock firmware as well. Afraid if they can detect the root status, it will void the 2-year warranty. Anyone can explain?

p/s: anyone want to suggest any good custom ROM for this phone?

Do I need to root the phone before flashing the 1st suggested ROM? Or can I just flash it without any root? Thanks!

I bought an AP set, Redmi 3 (not Pro) for my girl.  To replace her ageing Iphone 4S.

Not sure when the Official EU ROM will be launched, but I did go thru some sweaty moment doing all the roms stuff.  The biggest issue I face was that I already flashed to "SWING" locked bootloader rom before I got the unlock key.

1. So went a few ways to have it unlocked, as I had to find my way to get a fastboot Chinese official rom.
2. Then from the chinese official rom, use updater app to flash to global (chinese) dev rom.
3. Then unlock with MiFlash unlock
4. Install TWRP via fastboot method
5. Installed latest SWING mod english rom, regretted it because I hate the SWING boot animation
6. Install eu.miui latest Ido rom, happy with that.

So I have some experience on Swing locked bootloader rom, CN official rom, CN global dev rom, SWING unlocked latest rom, and finally eu.miui rom.  I must say I like the last rom as it's so closed to proper global rom and quite slim (rom size) in comparison.

I have a Redmi 2 1st generation bought from Directd before MI Malaysia launching it.  The phone is getting laggy now and I intend to factory reset it. I wonder if I factory reset this AP phone, will it reset to its original China version without the Play Store?

Need help. I installed twrp. I then wipe then installed xiaomi.eu_multi_ido_V7.3.1.0.LHPCNDD_v7-5.1 through twrp, then reboot system. It just shuts the phone off. When I try to turn it on, it vibrates, flashes mi logo for few seconds, vibrates again, then just turn off again.

Normal boot, vol up+power and vol down+power, just the same thing, except vol down+power flashes fastboot logo for a bit then gone.

What is current RRP in Malaysia, and when the phone comes, does warranty covered by our local Mi Center?

What does ROM included? China rom or international rom with google playstore, google apps included?
