hi there, recently engaged a one stop design + reno firm and got a quotation that went above my budget (and they are not really budging on the price unfortunately)
just wanted to do a sanity check by just taking one item out of the quote to see if it's above market rate cause this is my first time doing a house reno

shoe cabinet: melamine finish, swing doors with soft closing hinges, measurements: 2700mm (W) x 600mm (D) x 850mm (H)
cost: RM9,500 inclusive of design, production and installation

would be super helpful if there's any sifus here that can advice if this pricing is reasonable?

granite countertop right? Excluding any cabinets? one of your posts above you said granite price was RM550 psf. Here you said it is pfr. So, is it pfr or psf?

The price applies to all kinds of granite or is this an average price?

Just got my key for my new house in KL. it is a condo. For the renovation, we are having challenges. Trying to add new power socket around the house as the existing is not sufficient. about 7 power socket. we need to add additional but management office not allow us to conceal the wire, want us to use pvc casing. The condo is about RM500k per unit, and going to spend about RM 50k for renovation. it is very ugly to add additional power socket with the pvc casing. reason not allow us to do wall chasing is because all the walls in the unit is RC wall. Reinforced Concrete Wall

Want to get Sifu advise if really cannot do wall chasing/hacking the wall to extend the power socket location?
