quartz for backsplash pros are -without grouting ( compare with mosaic tiles )  easy to clean ,
-normally I suggest for condo customer or those customer no change wall tiles
because exiting socket not enough then add socket difficult get the same colour wall tiles
then cover with quart backsplash easy way
-exisiting kitchen without wall tiles cover with quartz stone it will look nice and save the budget for wall tiles
bellow the cons
-if existing wall tiles nice & socket enough can save the money for kitchen accessories
-if use the normal dot dot texture quartz stone actually the effect same with tiles ( just without grouting )
-if wan look like magazine that one call marble quartz stone / sintered stone the cost will be Rm 400
for 10 ft base and 10 ft backsplash & table cost you Rm 8000 dy haven't masuk cabinet yet .

but normally depend the customer budget , then plan which material or tiles .
because wall tiles function is block the brick wall moisture came out , normally suggest do wall tiles.

I bought a property(apartment) in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
When i visited Kk recently to find contractor for renovation, i was very amused when i visited my place when i see the kitchen area is very small, limited space, because of the toilet is just oppositr the kitchen. I was so stucked thinking of the design. Not practical...

I rented out the apartment to students before and when they all finished studies, i plan to take back the house and let it be as our family home vacation everytime i visited or outstation there.
I am going to do some repairing and renovation.
My apartment is 3 bedroom,3 Bath. INTERMEDIATE.
WET KITCHEN IS WHERE I DO LAUNDY. Cannot cook there Because of the aircon compressor are installed above. Very hot..

A company use WPC material for kitchen cabinet. May i know the pro & cons of this material & what is the reasonable price?

dining table have to put in the living room , next to the sliding door , washing machine have to put outside the yard since your house is semi-d right .

WPC woods are resistant to moisture , cons abit fake cos is plastic printing on the surface

No one will be staying the house for now cos i am based here in Damansara. That apartment i bought is just for investment purpose. Been renting out to some students, but when they moved out, aiyo evertything damaged.
That house i just want to take over back, furnihed everything and only will be use if i am outstation in KK.
I oredi asked around tru internet and found the carpentry to do the designs. I was only 2 days in KK dat day. I was very happy when i stumbled into ur post here in lowyat.. sometimes i outstation herr mostly 2-3 days. Sometimes 1 week. So kitchen area i just required to do 1 straight line.
Cooking area have to put in front toilet... Not enuf space. Even the id in KK ALSO suggested like dat. Also suggested combine the kitchen and do low bench on the window area and just buy i small.dining table.
Normally if i outstation in KK, I always eat outside. If whole family on vacation then i will cook.

Is it possible to do bottom part of base cabinet using cement and tiles and the carcass using melamine/chipboard?

I hate melamine/chipboard carcass since cannot mop heavily. Will damage the carcass.

if do cement tiles why put carcase inside ?
