Or return to dbkl due to the suspicious low price land deal by previous government.
Heard nothing about shop even after 1 year.

Didn't hear any news about this land falling under the so-called DBKL 97 plots. If you look at the link a few posts above, it was acquired by DBKL from 30 Kampung Chim Lee folks who used to live on that plot of land and the developer assigned to build the Rumahw1p + private project is supposed to compensate the former, which they didn't.

THE remaining 30 families from Kampung Chim Lee in Kepong received their People’s Housing Project (PPR) offer letters at a ceremony in PPR Seri Aman.

Kepong Community Centre head Yee Poh Ping said Kampung Chim Lee has been occupied by the squatters for more than 50 years.


“A developer acquired the land for a mixed development project and of the 52 families affected, 15 agreed to the first compensation package but 37 did not.

“They brought their case to court but were not successful.

“We negotiated with the developer and they have agreed to give each family RM10,000,” said Yee.

The developer will also give them a 10% discount on the purchase price of the Federal Territories Affordable Homes Programme (Rumawip),” he added.

The compensation will be paid over two payments of RM5,000 each.

The squatters were given two months to vacate the land and move to PPR Intan Baiduri.

Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng said the squatters would pay a rent of RM124 per month.

Wow. That is a huge piece of land. I guess is bigger than Henge + Kepongmas + Mizumi + Metro Kepong combine.

The Henge side has access to MRR 2 also, but the road damn small la. But these days people can use Kiara bay new route to access MRR2 (PJ direction).
To me, i think the location is good, because got park, MRT station, hypermarts, and many affordable food.
If you compare this with KLCC, then you win lorrr

Yes, almost the size of all of that projects combine. Since the plot got dewan serbaguna and kedai pejabat 3 tingkat, it's not going to be full highrise. The rumawip and the condo for sure will be at the plot near the lake.

Yes, the exit road to MRR2 so damn small. Luckily the road segment infront of the henge to mizumi got 6 lane. Soon, when the mizumi and metro kepong completed, for sure they will park at the roadside, that makes the road from 6 lane become only 2. laugh.gif
