GSpot "designed" for AVI only. Sighh....Although it can check MKV & OGM, but what codec being used (in MKV & OGM) cannot be determine.
But you can use my trick. Load MKV & OGM using Media Player Classic (MPC). Go to File > Properties (Shift + 10). Go to Details. There you go. Can see what kind of codec being used.
I even assign different "playback" icon between AVI, MKV & OGM. Easy for me.
i also use this trick to check the video format and bitrateBut you can use my trick. Load MKV & OGM using Media Player Classic (MPC). Go to File > Properties (Shift + 10). Go to Details. There you go. Can see what kind of codec being used.
