QUOTE(sjr @ Oct 28 2016, 01:01 PM) Did I miss something? Where is the power button? And how to force switch it off in case of system break down/unresponsive? (I knew it rarely happened, but just in case) The power button is in the same spot as the touch id

QUOTE(jason111785 @ Dec 11 2016, 02:39 AM) hard time deciding on which MBP to get. My 8 years old PC just died on me and I'm all out to get a new replacement - budget is 7k plus minus and usage will be: 1. Work (Excel, word, heavy graphical powerpoint) 2. Leisure (surfing, youtube, movie) 3. Light photoshop 4. Maybe some light gaming - overwatch Looking at: 1. New MBP 13" Non touch bar 2. New MBP 13" Touch bar 3. Old MBP 13" 128SSD Any advise? new MBP worth the 800 upgrade? or MBP TB worth the additional 1300? Also, with only the usb-c, any mouse to recommend?2nd option would give you the best bang for your buck

macOS Sierra 10.12.2 removed the "time remaining" battery life indicator because Apple believes that the battery life indicator in macOS Sierra is ultimately inaccurate and has led to some confusion about battery performance
Thoughts?

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Dec 15 2016, 12:01 AM) It's pretty stupid if you asked me because that's how I (and probably most people!) gauge battery life but we're going to have to live without it anyways! Personally, I find it sensible that they remove it because it's pretty hard to gauge accurately given the dynamic nature of our usage

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Dec 15 2016, 03:34 PM) Act, the time indicator is still there, if you open your Settings you'll see it.... No, they eliminated the "time remaining" indicator. Now only showing as a percentage
