QUOTE(Rubz77 @ Jan 19 2016, 05:42 PM) CVT Inspirians, i change mine, the sound occur at 80k km..Do you guys have this weird "whining sound" while driving roughly about 110kmh-120kmh ? It's very intermittent...usually appears after, lets say an hour or so of driving at that speed and gets louder as you accelerate and vice versa. It's been occurring the past month or so. I change my CVT oil once a year and my mileage is low..abt 42k km I don't thrash the car..hardly used the paddle shifters...haha. Just worried if something is wrong with the CVT box itself 1st change is at 50k km..... change to mitsu j4.. sound gone |

QUOTE(xi4n9 @ Jan 27 2016, 01:55 PM) Proton service manual says cvt service on 100k, for those who have whining, did you claim the service from the warranty? Since they say can last 100k, if 50k whine, they should replace your cvt oil for free to trouble shoot right? i tanya service center, they is normal lo... semua cvt gearbox memang mcm tu...why dont u curi curi change at outside, they wont be able to figure it out also |

QUOTE(joexoll @ Feb 17 2016, 02:36 PM) Hi guys i been using tesco EO since 1st service..I am going to service my inspira for 40k and got questions as below: 1. I have changed CVT oil around 15k lasttime due to accident. So i should change the cvt oil during 40k or 50/55k(follow every 40k interval for cvt oil)? 2. shell helix oil from tesco and selling by lazada is original or not? Heard it's from EU, suitable to inspira engine or not? http://www.lazada.com.my/shell-helix-hx7-s...23472.html?mp=1 Thanks in advance. it is safe, bear in mind, shell helix hx7 is not fully syn , it is semy syn |

QUOTE(win44 @ Mar 2 2016, 04:24 PM) Hey guys, is it ur car got special function? my car steering didnt back to straight once i release my steeringI changed my tires yesterday, and when driving home i found the steering to be very different. When i turn my steering wheel to make a sharp turn, then let go of the steering wheel, instead of the steering wheel return to straight position, the steering wheel turns even more! Have anyone encountered this before? I called the tire shop, they said they only did alignment, and should not affect the steering. The whole story: 1. My old front tires were worn out, reached the thread mark indicator. 2. I bought two tires, and the shop placed them in the rear. The two old rear tires were placed to the front wheels. 3. The Rear tires are slightly larger, 225/45R18, compared to the front tires 225/40R18 4. The shop did alightment and balancing for all tires. 5. they took the car for a short test drive before giving me the tires. 6. When i was driving home, i found the steering was strange, but expected it was due to new tires. 7. I went to pump air, and found the tire pressures to be all random, 40psi Front Left, 30 psi rear left, 35 psi front right, 38psi rear right. 8. They aligned my car with different tire pressures. 9. I adjusted tire pressure back to normal, but still felt the effect of "steering pull?" Any of these reasons could cause my steering to "over turn / over rotate"? Normally when i let go of the steering wheel, the steering will auto return to straight. But after changing tires, the steering sometimes turns even more when i let go of the steering wheel. I noticed it turns alot more when i carparks, making sharper turns. The shop i called says they cant do anything about that. Any ideas? |
