Want to ask you guys opinion. I am still using the stock 16 inch rim. Want change tyre already as the original CC5 already hitting 65k km mileage. 90% worn out.
I was offered like this: 205/55/16 Hankook Ventus V12 Evo 2 -> RM331 /piece incl A/B Bridgestone RE003 -> RM 320/piece not include A/B I am aware the speedometer will not be accurate anymore since the tyre diameter is smaller than original one. I am also concerned that RE003 very fast finish it seems, coz threadwear very lousy. Which one to choose now ?? Or any other recommendation . Actually Yokohama AE50 also inside my consideration but not many people are selling it for the right price because when I go ask, it is almost same as the RE003 price.. I know Michellin PS3 is good but freaking exp. I got an offer RM380 for 205/55/16. Way too exp, so its out of consideration. |

QUOTE(botack @ Apr 18 2016, 11:09 AM) first off, you want performance but want longer thread wear? u OK or not? I want balanced. I have read about very poor thread wear for RE003, can last ard ~30k km only. That is a bit too little I guess. Price is not cheap like last year already. The RE003 I found is made in Indonesia. Date made 5715. Or should I really hunt hard for 2016 stocks ??if thread wear is your concern, ATR sport. if performance is your concern, (dry - RE003, wet - PS3), I am using RE003 right now and it has been almost a year with whacking here and there, still grippy for me. Oh wait, don't count my experience since my car usually park under the porch for a very long time. ATR sport got only 17 inches I found.RM200++ only. I dunno where to find 16 inches ones. |

QUOTE(iguana_tan @ Apr 19 2016, 09:38 AM) I went to Rawang Sentral area, go few shop and ask for price. Need to go 1 by 1 to check. They are nearby each other. Got a bunch of these tyre shops nearby each other at a small location. The one I go is, TMKII Tyre & Auto Service Sdn. Bhd. You can google. But your size I not sure have or not, consider as odd size I think. |

QUOTE(verdangilte @ May 28 2016, 03:36 PM) ok..in that case. i take 2.0E better...dayum... Not R3 bodykit.personally dun like leather seat , my wira was leather seat. everytime i went out for lunch, its hot like oven n my ass like seat on a pan that can fried egg... wat different on bodykit ??? r3 bodykit u means ?? If you observe the 2.0P police car, it has skirting all around and a ducktail spoiler. The 2.0E no skirting at all. No spoiler. This variant is good when you already planned to install Lancer GT or Evo X spoiler. Why better ?? If you remove the ducktail spoiler on the 2.0P , there are 3 mounting holes you need to patch back. |
