Topic about Fuel Filters and why it costs about RM3xx+ to Rm4xx.

For a while I have been wondering why do they sell the entire pump casing with the fuel filter while we can buy it from taobao or local marketplace at way cheaper price.

Turns out the filter is actually sealed in the casing itself and has to be cut open if you want to take it out. Which means destroying the pump casing.

The flat pillow thing is actually called a fuel strainer.

so now I confused... haha..

we need to change our CVT oil at interval 40K.. or 100K.. >?

agak agak when need to change the whole round thing... 200k?

Engine cold -> open loop
Engine warm -> closed loop

Engine cold , ecu run open loop because the o2 is not heated up yet. A not heated up o2 will not give accurate reading to the ecu hence no point using a closed loop during cold.

Open loop, ecu use less sensor. Which is the maf and map sensor only. Ur engine sounds very likely its not getting enough fuel, straving for fuel. When u tekan minyak it sounds like it dont get the fuel at all,

My main suspect will be the MAF sensor.
If the technician is smart enough, he can monitor the MUT3 when engine running to see the air flow reading change when engine running. As well as the long term fuel trim.

Why is it ok when engine warm up, this is becoz ecu runs in closed loop by that time. The o2 reading will tell the ecu it is running lean and it will compensate with more fuel.

Its probably just a dirty MAF. I bet u never clean it. (do not clean with water or ur hand.. )
