Doesnt look much different between 5W and 7.5W wireless charging from what everythingapplepro said in his vid.

Depending on the user usage. In my opinion its worth it to get the PD charger adapter with the lightning to USB-C cable since I use my phone alot instead of having it laying around. I even have powerbank with PD capability just so that I can fast charge my iphone whenever I go.

Actually what is the max input the iphone X can take? Although USB C PD ports can output 29W, but I dont think the iPhone is drawing 29W right? Cant seem to find the info online

29W is for that particular adapter. Different adapter have different Power Delivery capability. My aukey should be able to handle until 36W if not mistaken. I havent found any article/video that showing the max power that iphone X can received. People should be doing the experiment soon now that we also already received update for fast wireless charging.

Found a korean dude testing fast charge on iphone 8 with a PD charger.

Seems like between 0% until 50%, iphone will fast charge with only 18W max and slow down as it reach 100%. This is reason why 12W ipad charger only take 15 minutes more than using PD charger to full charge. It doesnt really use until 29W like what apple told us.

From the above picture you posted, I still need iPad charger to charge? My iPad adapter is from iPad 2, guess there is some problem, which make it charge slower than my stock iPhone 8+ charger.

Ipad charger = USB-A
Above combo = USB-C Power delivery

Yeap. Do aware the phone will limit the input to receive max of 29W only even if the charger is 46W or above smile.gif

Cnsidering the price of APple's 29W charger is so expensive, this Aukey 46W is very worth the price.  biggrin.gif

IP8/IP8+/IPX input max 18W (9V/2A) from 0-50%. After 50%, it gonna slow charge.

Why cannot fast charge on ipx?

Need adapter and powerbank with PD ability. Example of powerbank that able to do that is the one that I bought at Lazada. Ravpower 26800mah PD. Goes for RM299 back then.

Hello. Since ipad charger out of stock at lazada, any other suggestion for charger?

I see aukey & anker have 18w charger. Which one will be better compare to ipad 12w charger. TQ.

Any charger that capable of doing 5V/2.4A is fine.

Ok. But which one faster. Any harm if not using apple ori charger?
*
You only gonna get 5V/2.4A (12W) max unless you use USB C PD fast charge. That 18W aukey and anker charger is for Quick Charge 3.0 which not supported by ip8/ip8+/ipx. So that 18W charger will give you 12W max which is similar to ipad charger.
