QUOTE(realitec @ Dec 19 2017, 07:59 AM) Alright, i just realised it named as Airpower, thanks though. Any exact date that it will be released in Malaysia? No idea, but should be a month or two after it launches in the US. Rumor has it that it won't be cheap though. Then again, which Apple product is, ha ha ha... Edit: Also, apparently, it only works with Watch Series 3 https://www.macworld.com/article/3224389/mo...-price-faq.htmlThis post has been edited by attw: Dec 19 2017, 08:05 AM

QUOTE(realitec @ Dec 19 2017, 08:06 AM) At least Apple product is reliable, does it with fast charge features? As i should be getting iphone X previously, but end up with 8 plus, hence i got more moeny to invest in accessories. Noted on it only works with Apple Watch S3, thanks for reminding. Should be able to, I guess. Ha ha ha, saving on the 8 Plus instead of the X just to invest in accessories? Apple will love you for that!

QUOTE(SHOfrE3zE @ Dec 19 2017, 06:27 PM) anyone using the x-one extreme shock eliminator screen protector? is it good? i'm looking to replace a good durable screen protector for my iphone 6s. Used X-One for my Note 8 previously and didn’t quite like it as it lifts at the edges and wrinkles over time. But the version for iPhones should be fine as the curve at the edge is not that obvious. Why not go for tempered glass instead?

QUOTE(SHOfrE3zE @ Dec 20 2017, 08:39 AM) Any tempered glass you can recommend that’s durable and not easily scratch? Am personally using Hoda, it's pretty good so far, albeit a little expensive (about RM90) https://www.machines.com.my/products/hoda-0...creen-protectorThis post has been edited by attw: Dec 20 2017, 09:10 AM

QUOTE(XiuKeong @ Dec 20 2017, 10:55 PM) Ya, now using the tinted glass really make it hard to see especially driving Ya, that's a good reason not to use privacy screen protectors particularly if you're dependant on Waze

QUOTE(one_cent @ Dec 22 2017, 11:24 PM) Hi guys, any fast charging cable and adapter recommend for iphone8 ? Just get the iPad 12W adapter and use your existing lightning cable. That’s the cheapest solution

QUOTE(lisahasan @ Dec 24 2017, 08:28 AM) There is another option right. Can use ipad charger or similar to it. Ipad charger is 12w Yes, and the iPad charger is supposedly only 15 minutes slower than this costlier USB C option.

QUOTE(lisahasan @ Dec 24 2017, 09:29 AM) I guess i would buy ipad charger or Aukey 18w as i already had extra 2 units of lightning cable (office & travel) In that case the iPad charger will do

QUOTE(lisahasan @ Dec 24 2017, 06:10 PM) Bought this. Free of mind, settle Sales guy said the same, ipx power up to 29w max and not more than that. Can use same 29w from new macbook charger too QUOTE(lisahasan @ Dec 24 2017, 10:45 PM) Charged using 12w ipad charge, 2 hours and 9 minutes from 8:04pm until 10:13pm 100% Yup, that’s good enough. Don’t really need to shelve out additional money for the 29W adapter and the USB C to lightning cable, use that to buy a nice Christmas gift for yourself.. Oh wait, you already bought an iPhone X

QUOTE(MasBoleh! @ Dec 25 2017, 07:24 PM) UAG pylo. First impression, the casing felt solid and tough. Lightweight as well. Fit the phone well. Pretty tactile and easy to press on all the buttons. A bit slippery though. Overall I like it. Nice! Ya, I tried holding the Pylo case once and it felt slippery for me as well, which is why I’d personally prefer the Plasma coz price is about the same. But it doesn’t look as sleek or slim as the Pylo

QUOTE(wklim090 @ Dec 26 2017, 03:50 PM) So the cheapest fast charging option for iPhone 8/8+/X is iPad 12W adapter + ori cable come from the box or iPad 12W adapter + Type C cable? Cheapest is iPad 12W adapter and your Ori lightning cable. If you want to use Type C, then you need to get the Type C to Lightning cable which costs above RM100, followed by a Type C adapter, not necessarily Apple's but good third party ones also costs above RM100, easily. QUOTE(lisahasan @ Dec 26 2017, 10:26 PM) I still remember old days with one brand that hard to see at any apple reseller. Switcheasy and odoyo. Same goes to speck. Hard to find it unless online. In modern days, rhinoshield up in the market. Spigen as always, legendary brand where all people love it at diff kind of age. Actually back during the days of the iPhone 4 and 4S incipio was also very popular but difficult to get over here. I had to order mine from Australia Or me personally, Spigen is over-rated and over-priced, not to mention so many imitation ones available

Concluded my vacation in Singapore but in the end decided not to get the iPhone X just yet, even though with GST refunds I would end up paying RM47xx for a 64GB one but decided I would get one later either via telco or some other source I did come across this Otterbox case at the Apple Store and it looks classy, so I went ahead and bought it, even though I didn't buy the phone, ha ha...
Haven't seen this in Malaysia yet...

QUOTE(dikae @ Dec 29 2017, 11:50 AM) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDmKSVwJmY4quite good for the price, for the looks + material...should match well with the space grey I'd say.. But I suspect case may not fit with full coverage tempered glass.

QUOTE(dikae @ Dec 29 2017, 11:59 AM) https://www.apple.com/shop/reviews/HLQV2ZM/...se-for-iphone-xsomeone uses belkin screen protector and he didn't say anything, so I think it should fit.... suggest after u get the phone, put it on the case and bring it to the shop... let the staff judge... coz if it doesn't fit at least they wont charge u... but from the looks of it, I think it fits the hoda even with full border RM85...or just go with the RM69 without border, confirm fit.. I believe the Belkin one is not full coverage, anyways, yeah, haven't bought the phone yet so won't go there just yet Thing with clear covers is it'll tend to scratch. I had the Otterbox Symmetry Clear previously on the S8+ and in less than a week it had so many hairline scratches.
